What about a corrupted combiner?
What do you think you’re doing! Just coming in here and suggesting yet more super cool ideas I totally want to draw! How dare you do this to me.
Though that’s something I’ve been thinking on for a while, so LET’S TALK ABOUT CORRUPTED COMBINERS!
So, like the fact that corrupted seekers don’t end up looking the same, corrupted combiners are all different and need to be taken on a case-to-case basis.
Some gestalts corrupt whilst in their combined state and after corrupting can no longer remember how to separate and they are stuck like that. In some cases one single component has corrupted and this manages to spread all the other combiner, quickly engulfing them.
Some corrupt individually but still manage to retain the ability to combine after corrupting, some of them just have such a strong sense of individuality that it’s easy to separate to their individual components (The Stunticons).
Some I think would actually just be kind of happy staying combined after being corrupted cos they’re such a cohesive unit (like if the Constructicons and Victorion were to corrupt). Some of them are being forced to stay together by a gestalt leader and are stuck being in this state (that would probably be Megatronia).
Naturally they’d be terrifying and it’s best avoiding them. They can be near indestructible and hard to take down. A lot of them roam around Cybertron’s surface and are now considered cryptids.
