Prompt 17 - Commit
@wolfstarmicrofic November 17, word count 914
Previous part First part
Sirius stood beside Regulus with his head bowed, looking at his reflection in the highly polished marble floor. He spent his time eating for Voldemort’s dramatic entrance carefully building the walls up that protected his mind. Regulus stood equally still as he copied Sirius and protected himself. Remus stood awkwardly beside Snape and Lucius Malfoy. Narcissa was not part of the inner circle, thank fuck. She’d been so ill with Draco that Voldemort had decided not to mark her and hadn’t brought up the subject since. Sirius thought it was because he thought her weak, but Narcissa Black was anything but weak. He refused to acknowledge her marriage. He couldn’t think any more about it as that was the moment Voldemort chose to announce his arrival.
“My dear friends, how kind of you to come,” Sirius bit his bottom lip to stop himself from scoffing. Like they had a choice in the matter. He called them, they came, or they suffered the consequences. To become one of the Dark Lords' favoured meant to commit your life to him in servitude. Sirius gritted his teeth; this was what he rebelled against the most with these idiots. He was servant to no one.
“We have made much progress these last few weeks,” Voldemort went on. “But we have much more to do. In two weeks, we are taking the Ministry!” Voldemort declared, raising his arms. Excited muttering filled the room. Sirius leaned over towards Regulus, pretending to whisper in his ear. Regulus turned his masked face to look at him and nodded quickly. “Now, now, dear friends, settle down,” Voldemort chided them. Sirius’s fingers itched to Avada him right there. It would be so easy, he’d never see it coming, but Sirius and Regulus would never make it out of there alive and then that left Cissa and Draco alone. He balled his hand into a tight fist and released it. “Each of you will be given orders for the coming weeks, and I expect them to be carried out perfectly.” his tone changed, going cold with warning.
“Yes, My Lord,” the gathered murmured obediently.
“I shall send your orders within the next few days. You are dismissed,” and with that, he swept from the room. Sirius stuck his tongue out at him, knowing it couldn’t be seen behind his mask. He couldn’t believe they’d been dragged out here at three in the morning to be told that. He thought the Order were attacking or something.
“I’m going to go see Cissa,” he told Regulus, yanking his mask from his face, walking out of the ballroom and following the familiar path to her rooms.
Narcissa was nursing when he knocked on the door. “It’s only me,” he called softly.
“Come in,” she called back. “He’s just about done,” she told him. Sirius grinned down at the little blond head attached to Narcissa’s chest.
“Wow, he’s grown again,”
“Hasn’t he just?” she beamed at her son. “As has his appetite,” She raised a delicate brow and pursed her lips.
When Draco was done, she handed him over to Sirius, who was trying his best to wait patiently by bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet. He made grabby motions with his hands and took him into his arms.
“Hello, my little love, and how are you tonight?” he asked. Draco screwed his face up as though saying, ‘What are you on about?’ Before letting out a loud burp. “Delightful as always, darling Draco,” Sirius chuckled and pulled the little boy in close for a hug.
“Are you alright?” Narcissa asked, watching him carefully.
“Bad night,” he answered truthfully. She never asked for more than that; she was good that way.
“He might need a story,” she nodded towards Draco.
“I’ll do it,” Sirius told her, and took Narcissa’s seat in the rocking chair, picking up the book on the table. “Now, where were we, young man?” He asked, and Draco shrugged. He wasn’t talking yet, but Sirius was sure any day now. “Ah, here we are, Babbity Rabbity and Her Cackling Stump,” Sirius cleared his throat and began to read.
Draco fell asleep, his lids drooping over his watchful grey eyes until they disappeared. Ever so carefully, he carried Draco over to his bed and tucked him in. He stared down at his beautiful godson for a moment, wishing he could get him out of here, keep him safe. “Have you still got that key?” He asked, turning away from Draco to address his cousin. She nodded, pulling the fine silver chain around her neck until the key became visible. “We’re going to take the Ministry. Get Draco there as fast as possible when it all goes tits up,” Narcissa moved to his side, wrapping her thin arms around him.
“Promise me you’ll be careful,” she whispered. He sometimes found it strange how close they had become, but he was glad they had.
“I will. I’d better go, Regulus is going to be murderous if I wake him up.”
"You can always stay here,” Narcissa offered. Sirius shuddered.
“No, thanks, this place gives me the creeps.”
“What, more than Grimmauld?” Narcissa laughed under her breath. Sirius nodded seriously.
“I banished everything that goes bump in the night from the house. The Ghouls still haunt this place,” and with those lovely words and one more glance at Draco, Sirius left the manor, returning to Grimmauld, appearing on the street directly in front of James Potter.

Grian… you coward…
PUT ON THAT LINK SKIN AND RELIVE THE EVO DAYS PLEASE
And my god, Grian, Martyn and Jimmy dying in quick succession? All being previous members of the Evo series? Everyone standing in the exact same way as everyone did back at the start of Evo?
And a massive part of me loves the fact that while some people are completely new to the Alpha gameplay, others know it better, mainly because of Evo. Having such a mixed group like Grian, Pearl and Gem with one being in Evo since the beginning, another joining in later, and the last having never experienced old Minecraft,,,, god it’s so SICK
new leak: all the bad loumand moments were fake, Daniel just added them in the book cause he hated them, and the s2 was just from Daniel's book. In reality, Loumand are still together, happily and they're just going along with the divorce plot, for the giggles.
commit to the ! bit ! in holy matrimony !!
