This page is just so good!!! The way the panels look like they’re falling around and they follow the helicopter so well. It’s just beautiful.
And Dick is being fantastic as always.

Here's the YT upload of the stream from last week where I went over some comic composition stuff as well as paneling and speech bubbles!
Fortunately this upload isn't laggy like the stream was! Hopefully tonight's stream (5pm GMT-6) won't be either! ^^;
an excerpt i like from my narrative forms final project this semester, which was 10 long pages of comic composition
[id: four comic panels of my OCs, Sterling and the lizard Foolbug. The first three panels cut diagaonally across the page, depicting: 1. Sterling bringing food to their mouth; 2. a peeled and partially eaten orange in their lap, with Foolbug’s claws digging into their knee; 3. Foolbug staring intensely. In the final panel, Sterling looks considering, orange in their mouth, before saying, “...Try some.”]

I gotta recommend a bunch of comics that are really good at this sorta stuff, plus you just need to read these good-ass comics anyway so here
- Daughter of the Lilies - the example in the Exceptions page is from this one! Really freakin good in all fronts tbh?? keeps you Really hooked - Paranatural - This one has REALLY GOOD action scenes, it really guides you through the pages enthralled, and also frickin stellar humor A+++ - Ava’s Demon - this one has single panel pages but the compositions are really good just by themselves!! Plus really beatiful painted comps - Monsterkind - rly good content heavy pages that still keep you proper informed and entertained - The Last Halloween - great example of Long pages that keep your anticipation up while scrolling!! rly good horror comic my dudes - Cucumber Quest -super cute, great composition, great style, just. SO GOOD i love this comic cries
