Hey! I’ve been going through an odyssey trying to find which comic and issue this comic panel belongs to. Idk why I really like the art style, but I haven’t been able to pinpoint which comic this comes from 😭
Can anyone help? Pretty please, I’ve been searching for days

okay I don't know what kinda reach this post will have if any but
calling all clangen blogs!!! (comics, artists, even just dedicated players)
I wanna start a clangen comic but am struggling with consistent motivation, what keeps you guys going?
(also bonus question: how do you decide a clan is worth committing too and making a comic out of?)
lil more info on my struggles under the cut
so, I've been trying to do some kind of clangen art thing for probably years now? since the game first got popular on youtube
I wanted to make YouTube videos like nyoko or uh other people I'm forgetting the name of, but basically drawing the lineup and saying what happened that year
tried that twice, never mad with past the art phase cause I hate editing videos
I finished drawing like 14 cats in a big ass canvas but couldn't get myself to finish the video because I just didn't care about the cats
I have problems with motivation anyways so I kind of need to be interested in the clan in order to commit to a longish term comic
erm anyways I don't want to put too much pressure on myself so I don't burn out either so I don't want some kind of grandiose story (plus I'm really back at writing stories)
I'd want it to be more light hearted and chill but I also feel like I need some kind of direction?? I dunno man
also for everyone who read this far here's some of my abandoned clan art that never gets to see the light of day <3
Say... if hypothetically someone would be to post a comic here and hypothetically said someone is so scared of working on it because of potential backslash but still wanna do it... what could they hypothetically do...?
Like that someone has all the story planned and main characters but now is just frozen because of an extreme low self-esteem and the fear of never finishing that hypothetical comic
Could you uh.. help that hypothetical someone please.... that someone is kinda lost

Does anyone have a reading guide on Black Lightning? I’ve read every Batman and the Outsiders run and Black Lightning (2024), but I’m trying to figure out where to go from here.
Do I just read Year One then work my way backwards to his solos? Does he have any major appearances in other team books? Anything else for the rest of the Lightningfam???
Dammit. Idk what to do. I really wanna make a comic I've been planning on making for a really long time now, but I know exactly how It's gonna end up (this is not a vent btw)
I give up on every comic I start. I finish a few frames and then leave it behind and never continue it. Idk why, I try my best to start drawing again but I can't. I starts feeling like a duty, not like something I'm making for fun. It feels like I gotta force myself to make it.
Writing a book instead is not an option either. It ends up the same, at least it used to back when I would write on wattpad. Also it's difficult for me to describe some of the characters' designs or other things because these designs are heavily fictional as I imagine them. Tho I think it's possible to add a picture in every chapter on wattpad, so I could put a drawing before each chapter to describe the looks of characters/objects better I guess.
Still, the big issue is that I forget what I wrote after like a few seconds, so I have to read every sentence like 5 times again before I keep writing (even when I'm writing here on Tumblr now, it's really a pain in the ass)
And on the top of it all, barely anyone seems to care about AUs. When I started writing a story on wattpad about what I think could happen after The Showdown, it got lots of attention, and damn it surprised me. But my other story about my AU "Aquastar" also with Dark and Chosen got very little attention. It has less chapters, but the writing is as bad as in my story that got so much attention. I feel like people usually care only about what's canon or the closest to being canon, instead of looking towards something new and creative :/
So somebody PLEASE tell me. How can I turn my idea into a story for others to see, without making it a comic, and how to get people interested in it?
(Honesty, turning it into a book sounds like the best option for now but it still would be difficult and take tons of time to finish. So I don't know)
