My short comic for @grandfestzine ! Pondering the future for salmonids :’)

I'm doing things a little bit differently this year. Below, you will find three 3x3 bingo cards. One is military themed, one is "slice of life" themed, and one is a mix of both. There are no image prompts this year, but art is still very much welcome! The dates for Cohawk Week 2026 are October 12-18.

You can pick your own card and work from there. All works may be posted on any day of Cohawk Week. And there will be a week-long grace period to add works to the AO3 collection afterwards. The collection will open on October 12, 2026.

From my Cohawk Week fic, which I somehow managed to get done in time for the 3rd:

When the door to Cody's quarters on the Negotiator slides open without so much as a knock beforehand, he doesn't have to look up from his datapad to know who would have the temerity to barge in on the Marshal Commander. "Wooley," he intones, checking a few boxes on his last requisition form of the evening.  "Not even a 'hello'?" Wooley huffs. "No 'congratulations on completing ARC training, Wooley.' 'Welcome back, Wooley.' 'It sure is good to see you after three months, Wooley.'"

The war is over. They won. The month since it all happened has been a bit of a blur, and now Cody finds himself directionless without an army to command. Luckily, everyone else seems to have a pretty good idea of where he should direct his attention.

Wooley has always worked to be the best, more out of a desire to protect his brothers and end the war quickly than any personal ambition. Now that he has the option and undirected downtime in hyperspace, he's hoping to achieve something that's just for himself, if he can get Cody out of his own head long enough to notice him.
