#day 3

Levi going out sometimes isn't really an issue, since they know he must be buying things in town, until the scouts noticed he was going out almost every day. One day, they saw him leave in the morning and come back in the evening. Some asked Hange and Erwin about it, but they didn't know either, and that's when the rumors started.

"Maybe he's seeing someone?"

"Captain Levi and dating in one sentence? Impossible."

"Then why is he out all the time?"

"I don't know."

"I think he's definitely dating someone. Don't you notice the change in him? He always makes us run 50 laps every day, but it's only 45 now."

"He's probably just in a good mood."

"Why is he in a good mood, then?"

"Maybe he got new cleaning supplies or something."

Outside the Scout Headquarters, the man at the center of the rumor is in your bed, arms wrapped around you, his head resting on your chest as you comb your fingers through his hair.

"Tired today?" you ask softly.

Levi hums before properly responding, "I stayed up late last night to finish all the paperwork that's due tomorrow."

"Why the rush when you can do it today? Sleep is more important, you know." Your fingers slowly move down to his undercut and gently scratch it, a smile spreading across your face as you feel his hug tighten. He loves it, and you can tell it's definitely his favorite thing.

"You know why."

You chuckle. Even without him directly saying it, you already know: he wants to spend his time with you.

Three months ago, you started working at a tea shop, and that was the first time you saw him. You could hardly believe it when your boss told you he was humanity's strongest soldier, Captain Levi. He was paying for his stuff, and you couldn't stop staring at him, which he noticed, raising an eyebrow as he said, "What are you looking at?" Without thinking, you blurted out, "…Short." A mistake, but not really.

"Why are you laughing?" Levi asks, pulling you back to reality and realizing he's now facing you.

"It's nothing." He doesn't believe you.

"Come to think of it, I need to go to the market to buy some ingredients for later," you say, shamelessly changing the topic.

He decides to let that slide. "I'll come with you."

At the market, the two scouts who had been gossiping about Levi earlier are about to head back to headquarters when they spot someone they weren’t expecting.

"Is that…?"

"Captain Levi?"

He's with someone, a woman. What's more shocking is that he's smiling while talking to you.

It's a sight they have never seen before, and the two of them can't tear their gaze away from it until Levi feels their stare, his sharp eyes instantly finding them.

An immediate glare, with meaning. They’re fucked.
