IT’S SO COLD 🌬️

This is a little zine I made for an arts event happening this week- we are giving out goody bags to the students attending and there’s cute collage making kits in them… the office wanted folks running the workshops to make a few example zines - details under the cut

It’s been 8 years

I grieve my dad every day

Last night a few folks and I had the lovely opportunity to go into the archives of the Museum of Natural History in Halifax, Nova Scotia to draw! My favourites were the holotypes (not pictured) and the early amphibian prints. I also adored seeing their tiny but mighty salmon collection (of course) :-)

My comic, Upstream, made as part of my 2025 thesis work at The Center for Cartoon Studies. It is a 30 page accordion bound comic about a salmon and a bear refusing to do what is expected of them. You can read it HERE. 18+ only. The physical book was made to try and replicate the body of a salmon. Photos of the book are down below.
