There is not enough exploration of Obi-Wan's relationship with Trapper, the clone that survived the crash landing on Geonosis with him. We don't know if everyone else died on impact and so it was just Obi-Wan and Trapper waiting in there until help found them, or if there were other survivors initially who slowly died of their injuries before Boil and Waxer were able to get there, leaving Obi-Wan and Trapper to sit there helplessly and watch as everyone died around them and wondering if they'd be next.
How would that impact them, their time spent together in the dark surrounded by corpses, with only each other as proof that they hadn't joined the rest of their fellow soldiers in death? Would they become each other's light a little, a reminder that things were okay, that they weren't alone yet?
Would they find comfort in each other's presence even after they left Geonosis? Maybe seek each other out sometimes in their downtime just to eat a meal together or play a game or just to talk? Would there be things Obi-Wan felt he could tell Trapper that he didn't tell anyone else sometimes? Does Obi-Wan seek Trapper out when he has nightmares because Trapper is the one who'd kept him sane in the dark? Would Obi-Wan just know when Trapper had a nightmare and make a beeline to find him when it happened if he could and find a way to send someone else to him if he can't get there himself?
Would Obi-Wan now have a sixth sense for where Trapper is in a battle no matter what because he spent so long honing in on Trapper's Force signature on Geonosis as a reminder that someone yet lived? If they end up separated in a battle at some point or if Obi-Wan has to go off to do Jedi work while the 212th continues on its own, does Obi-Wan make sure to check in on Trapper before nearly anyone else when he finally comes back? Does Cody start recognizing that this is something Obi-Wan does and already has Trapper's status ready to go for Obi-Wan before he even needs to ask anymore?
I don't know, I just feel like that experience would change that relationship irrevocably and I'd love more exploration of what the two of them might come to mean to each other afterwards as a result.
