Regarding that last post; PLEEEASE MORE RANTS. I need them so I can chew on them like a bone to get them in my bloodstream pretty pls with sprinkles and a cherry on top
ahahhaehehah will do, thank you!! some other random mando!141/COD Star Wars AU headcanons:
-in this star wars au, the clone wars lasts 6-8 years, because honestly...it just makes a lot more sense. and it's easier to mess around with the timeline lol
-Jaster Mereel is the mf that haunts the whole narrative. Jango looked up to Mereel, Kal looked up to Mereel, and Price did too, even though he was pretty young then. I think Clan Price supported Mereel's claim as Manda'lor and the Supercommando Codex right up until he died; and Price never stopped fanboying over the Codex either, and that influences his actions for quite awhile
-However, Price gets more jaded as the Clone Wars drags on...more on this later
-Soap is from Stewjon...self explained lololol
-Even though Ghost was in Deathwatch, he didn't know Pre Vizla was the leader until it was revealed later in the Clone Wars. that shit was wrapped up tight. (though Vizla pushing back against pacifism was kind of an open secret)
-Later in the Clone Wars, Coruscant Security Force Chief Kate Laswell often gets drinks with Commander Fox. They are both exhausted, overworked and fuckin' tired of the Senate (and the Jedi) lol. Kate comes to be the only natborn that Fox truly trusts.
-General Shepard is one of the few non-jedi Generals in the GAR. Actually acts pretty decent to the clone troopers, but doesn't actually care much about them (as he treats any soldier as canon fodder, at least as the war drags on).
Tis I (weareoutofmaplesyrupdave) on my main side blog lol. I have more thoughts and questions:
So whatās their affiliation with Jango if any
So would KorTac be private contractors like the bounty hunters guild but with like, way more team oriented cohesion? Would they be mando too?
Whatās the 141ās place in the war? Are some of them part of the cuyāval dar and trained cadets on Kamino or completely separate and theyāre mostly mando space oriented?
Would Riley the dog be a wolf species, a strill or a massiff?
Ghost definitely still wears his soft mask and eye smudges under the helmet doesnāt he? Cause heās a mysterious diva like that.
DOES SOAP STILL DIE?!?!?!
Would Haasan be a death watch-er or a sith?
What would Graves affiliation be then? The Republic?
Kal probably collects at least someone for for his weird little (big as fuck) clan doesnāt he
What does the end of the clone wars look like for the 141? Would they ever work for the empire?
Personal thoughts: At some point if kƶnig were to ever show up I think heād be one of the few people that actually intimidates Kalās boys based off sheer capabilities alone and not just his size and itās a VERY tense relationship at first but then they get to know him and their all friends now, mostly Aāden, Ordo and Jaing tho.
Sev would definitely have a laugh at Ghosts half a dog joke. Actually I think all of Delta would be big fans of the 141.
I think Ghost, Prive and a few others would do the opposite of what everyone else does with Vau, he gets along with him fine enough in the beginning but comes to loose respect for him for the way he treats his cadets and being a bully in general but Kal is ok with him so they keep the beef at disapproving glares
ALSO, pls pls pls tell me more about Simonās darksaber scar!
Ok⦠ok, I think Iām done. (Iām a liar so Iāll leave that statement at for right now status)
I feel like an English teacher over complicating a report lol sorry

Wait I have a question about your cod!Star Wars au (GOLD BTW). So, lots of people write Ghost as being allergic to taking off his mask because of how heās portrayed in the game, so would you headcanon him as a child of the watch or just allergic to taking his helmet off until he absolutely has to go civvi?
omg haha i was just thinking about this! i think he's not actually a child of the watch; he's too iffy with super strict ideals after Deathwatch indoctrinating him, but a lot of people think he is part of that sect anyways.
i imagine Ghost takes off his helmet the most around Price since he's known him for the longest time (10-15 years, i haven't decided a specific timeframe yet) when they're in private, less so with Gaz and Soap. But definitely never takes it off in public, even less so when the Clone Wars starts.
however, this mf is still defensive about his culture to a T! Price is kind of (or starts off as) a hardline mando traditionalist thanks to Kal Skirata, and it transfers onto Price, which transfers onto Ghost. I'd like to think Price teaches Ghost to be proud of his warrior culture without being...y'know, being a terrorist about it.
I also headcanon Ghost as only speaking Mandalorian around the Jedi at the start of the Clone Wars when he's most distrustful of them to purposely unsettle them. lololol
Sorry for the rant! there are a lot of things floating around in my brain rn

Ramikadyc-A Star Wars Call of Duty AU
ramikadyc: commando state of mind - an attitude that he/she can do anything, endure anything, and achieve the objective.
Part One
Five Years Before the Battle Of Geonosis
Sundari, Mandalore.
In the wake of the cleanup of the Deathwatch attack (Kryze and Almec say that Deathwatch no longer exists, was shattered a long time ago, but everyone knows better) on the Sundari Dome, blue and red lights flashing against shattered glass-Gaz canāt stop staring at Alorāad Priceās EE-3 carbine blaster rifle.Ā
Itās not like Gaz had never seen a blaster before. In fact he had held one, shot one before Clan Garrick gave up their arms and beskar in exchange for pacificism, for a promise of no more blood, no more war, no more senseless violence.Ā
So much for that.Ā
Even as a Mandalorian police sergeant, working in tandem with the Mandalorian Protectors assigned to guard Duchess Satine Kryze; he didnāt have a blaster. Gaz had always secretly, blasphemously considered a blaster the true weapon of the Mandalorians.Ā
Even when his cousin brought back a broken, smoldering carbine to his aunt, the only thing that was left of his uncle after Galidraan and his aunt collapsed in his motherās arms. Even when his family melted down their beskar and Gaz managed to snag his late fatherās helmet and hide it away. Even when he had witnessed innocent civilians be slain by the same blaster bolts Gaz yearned to wield. Gaz looks down at his electro-baton and shield, then to the lights bouncing off of Priceās scuffed armor as Alorāad Price talks with the Alorāad of the Mandalorian Royal Guard.
If Gaz had a blaster, maybe he would be able to save more people.
If all Mandalorians had a blaster, maybe less innocents would be dead, and more of the enemy would.
Price snaps Gaz out of his thoughts.Ā
āYou saved lives today, Ruusāalor.ā He says in that gruff voice, barely different from when Priceās voice was distorted by the vocoder of his helmet, which he currently has tucked under his arm.Ā
Gaz creases his eyebrows as he looks at the sheets laid over corpses, scattered all across the city square. āIt shouldnāt have happened in the first place, sir.ā He says, tearing his gaze away from the bodies and turning around to meet Priceās flinty blue eyes.Ā
āThey sent us in half-assed, so everyone can just keep pretending weāre not at war anymore, pretending that Kyr'tsad isnāt-ā He cuts himself off, lips pursing as his eyes flicker away from Priceās steely gaze.Ā
Kyrātsad. Deathwatch. Like speaking the damned name will bring another explosion, another attack, another war.Ā
ā...Sir.āĀ
Price simply juts his head slightly. āGo on.āĀ
Gaz bites his tongue for a moment, jaw clenching as he looks at the carnage laid out before him-part of his home, now festering with a violence that could have been put down faster, quicker, maybe if he and the Guard had been allowed to investigate the previous threats beforehand, maybe if Gaz had a goddamn blaster-
Gaz turns his attention back to Price. āWe donāt stand a chance in hell with these rules of engagement, Captain,ā He nearly hisses, voice low. āThey can tell us where, they can tell us whenā¦but donāt tell us how.āĀ
Gazās gaze subconsciously flickers to the carbine strapped to Priceās waist, before he tears it away again in a millisecond.Ā
Alorāad John Price, of course, notices. He leans in just a little bit, as if shielding the rest of the galaxy from their conversation.Ā
āYouāre tired of the inaction.ā Price says. Gaz clenches his jaw again, looking away; he says nothing, but his silence speaks for him. Price keeps going.Ā
āMandalore and Her people deserve peace, yeah...but peace is won with violence, in a way. With putting the enemy down-completely. āS the natural order of things.ā Price says in a low, gravelly voice.Ā
Gaz shakes his head. āBut we didnāt put the enemy down. Not completely. Maybe itās Kyrātsad, maybe itās not, butā¦somethingās not right. Thereās not as much stability in our system as everyone claims. Just ācause the war is overā¦ā He trails off, exhaling deep and silent as he views the carnage again. When did the violence stop? Did it ever really stop? Would it have been better or worse if Mandalore didnāt give up Her arms?
ā¦Would Deathwatch still exist, otherwise?
The Great Clan Wars, the Mandalorian Civil war, whatever you called it-was a tricky thing. Gaz had been taught it like every Mandalorian child, had heard the stories from plenty of viewpoints, angles, perspectives, first-hand experiences. Peace against violence, violence against peace, Deathwatch, New Mandalore, Old Mandalorians, True Mandalorians, Traditionalists, the Faithful, the Faithless, and-
None of them were happy stories, and every word, every story, every belief of nonviolence weaved into Gazās psyche just confused him more when he saw what peaceful inaction led to-
-Bodies, bodies, and more bodies...in his humble opinion, of course.
Price snaps him out of his thoughts again. ā...but the warās never truly over, isnāt it?ā He says gruffly. Gaz bites the inside of his cheek this time, shifting slightly.
Price doesnāt say anything else; patiently waiting for the Sergeant to speak, waiting for Gazās piece which they both know is not going to be in disagreement.Ā
Not now.Ā

A quick doodle...Ver'alor Ghost loves his blue milk ft. the lovely Ruus'alor Gaz who i am totally not screaming over armor designs rn
I heard the kids these days are calling it the summer of Gaz, so here you go with mando!Gaz...
Hails from Sundari, the city-capital of Mandalore. When the Mandalorian Civil War ended, Gaz's family ditched their beskar armor and weapons, fully embracing the pacifistic Mandalorian movement. He was part of Duchess Satine Kryze's police guard, but became disillusioned with Pacifism-specifically from Satine's inaction after a Deathwatch terrorist attack. After helping Price take down a couple Deathwatch soldiers on Mandalore, he gladly joins 141, snags his family's beskar armor that hasn't been melted down yet, and fully embraces being Mandalorian.
Our dear Soap is next on the lore drop list...
