Indulge in the ultimate combination of peanut butter and chocolate with these super thick and chewy cookie bars. Each bite is loaded with chunks of chocolate and the rich flavor of peanut butter, making them a decadent treat for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 cup creamy peanut butter. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 cup brown sugar. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 2 cups chocolate chunks or chips.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 175F 350C. A 9x13-inch baking pan should be greased. Melted butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar should all be mixed together well in a large bowl. Every time you add an egg, beat it in. Then, add the vanilla extract and mix it in until it's smooth. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a different bowl. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix them in until they are just combined. Add chocolate chunks or chips and mix them in until they are spread out evenly in the dough. Fill the baking pan with dough and spread it out evenly. It's done when the edges are golden brown and a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean or with a few wet crumbs on it. Let it cool all the way in the pan before cutting it into bars.
