Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup chocolate chips. 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
