But I can't believe my favorite TADC ship (an absolute crack ship btw) is kinda sorta confirmed canon at this point???

I mentioned in a comment a while ago that way back after Ep. 7 released I started shipping an insanely rare ship that I could not find art of for the life of me...

But now the movie is out, and Goose made that one post about an alt au where Jax/Lilly didn't fumble Ribbit, and now all of a sudden one of my OTPs is flooding the internet...

#So excited that this film is FINALLY getting some recognition #I grew up with this thing #Yknow recorded by my father at 4 am in the adult time slot because it was too violent for prime time #And then played back on scratchy VHS when I was old enough to watch PG-13 movies on my own #Dad always said this was one of those films that just everyone had to see to be human #I remember dad telling me the specific history of the handguns used by Goncharov and Andrey in the film #Mostly Italian of course but the gun Andrey has in the end is actually Russian #Make of that what you will #I had a short-lived crush on Robert DeNiro after this #And I still have a thing for mushy puppy-dog eyed mercenaries ever since #I mean look at Kiryu #I know Andrey and Icepick Joe are the heavy hitters now #And don't get me wrong I have A LOT of feelings about Icepick Joe #But I dunno...#I guess I always kinda identified with Goncharov's personal estrangement and struggle for identity #It really resonates with you when you're 14 and you don't know who you are anymore or where you belong #I just watched it at the right age I think #Anyway it's so cool to see this movie FINALLY getting some love #I thought I was the only one #Goncharov (1973)#unreality

One of my favourite rabbit holes to get lost in every so often is the Bad Webcomics Wiki, which I have no idea when I first stumbled upon them but I know it was when they still had their old domain so.... a while ago.....

Some of their entries I completely disagree with, like the inclusion of Humon’s drawings about her OCs I have 0 idea why they’ve been included and it strikes me that someone of the site had personal issue with Humon’s work rather than judging any kind of quality she creates (and considering Humon’s extremely open approach to sex, gender roles and orientation I imagine there are some erm..... types of people who’d want to try and criticise her “without looking like an asshole” if you know what I mean :/)

But it also includes some true gems like CTRL + ALT + DEL if you ever needed a crash course on where the “Lost” meme came from and WHY its a meme in the first place.

Part of me is worried that the site may veer a little too close to “cringe culture” in some ways, but another part of me feels that its reviews and essays on WHY certain comics are bad or don’t work can be incredibly useful in terms of “how will my audience respond to this?” kind of thing. Rather than the technical side of “how to properly draw comic panels”

It’s not Encylcopedia Dramatica, is what I’m saying. But for the most part gives honest reviews to webcomics and the reviewer’s experiences reading them. And it takes more than “this comic is kinda dumb and has an OC in it because the author is 12″ to get on the site.

Anyway, perhaps a little problematic, but still something I find myself still going back to to this day because, despite anything else, it’s a very good source of information.
