When the choir gets mad that you aren't preaching to them...
Something I've noticed a few times around here is that when arguments are made to try to bring people around to a particular way of thinking, they are often attacked by people who already think that way. Remembering particularly the "She's somebody's wife, mother, daughter" etc meme, and a poster series meant to discourage bullying by getting people to think about the hidden struggles their targets might already be dealing with.
Some people seem to get angry if you argue a point on anything other than its obvious, undeniable truth, and either don't realize or don't care that people who don't think that way already are rarely swayed by repeating a point loudly, or insults for "not getting it."
Is this a widely observed effect in politics, do people everywhere get mad when, for instance, you argue for a position on economic or logistical grounds instead of moral ones? Or is it a fringe effect? Or just one of Tumblr's special aspects?
I genuinely think there's something wrong with me lmaoooooo
My mother just told me to stop playing a song. Because it was Gothic and Dark.
The song was "You Are My Destiny" .
I need to know. Is it Gothic or not? If not Gothic, then what genre.
Is this song Gothic???
It's Gothic.
It isn't.
YEAHHHHHHHHH

I'm going back to school at the tender age of 32 because I don't know what the future looks like but a bachelor degree in something that lets me yell at corporations for not following safety regulations might help
