im excited about a lot of them tbh, but i think i might work on these two next:

Prompt: Lawsuit era. Buck is allowed on a call out near the woods but is basically on crowd control. Eddie is particularly snappy at him but Buck notices something on the ground slithering towards Eddie. Buck shoves Eddie out of the way taking the bite to the arm. They rush Buck to the hospital where they don't have the anti-venom! Buck gets delirious and tells Eddie how much he loves him since he thinks Eddie a dream. Buck almost dies, they save him. Buck avoids everyone after, hurting alone.

One – Maddie

Evan Buckley is 11 years old when his sister leaves for the first time.  He understands the need to run away, even at such a young age.  His parents are not horrible people, but they are not good at being parents.  They are tough and stubborn, stuck in the ways of parenting that they had been raised under.  They are all cold discipline and no open love; always quick to correct and criticize, never ones to praise.  Children do not need to be praised for every little thing they do; it makes them soft.

Buck copes with unrequited love by maladaptive daydreaming, buying Eddie flowers, and lying to the farmers market vendor about his imaginary husband.

Or, Buck realizes he’s in love with Eddie and tries not to be weird about it. He does a terrible job.
