#broken branches

This shot was taken a couple minutes after sunrise and is looking northeast in my back yard. The winds are howling again, but this time they are from a different direction. That way more different branches can be ripped off of my trees. 😠

The snow just quit here but the wind did not. The snow plow has gone by already but there is not much to plow. They are probably just checking the roads and salting intersections.

It least I got my shopping done yesterday so I don’t need to go out today. My next trip out will be for getting a couple of “me” items, like a couple of new shirts. Yay me. 🙂

Broken willows…

While walking along the river yesterday, I saw a number of willow trees with missing and broken branches. Willows that had seen better days. Yet, despite all of this, they still had plenty of leaves and were determined to survive against the odds. That's something to think about, isn't it?
