i know for a few people they feel like zim and dib could never be friends at the end of the day because of their initial dynamic as enemies but after watching hannibal you realize anything can happen
people change or perhaps over time they reveal what they’ve always been
and for zim and dib it’s very easy for me to see them become something. not overnight obviously but shifts would definitely happen
to add the obsession and compulsion they have for one another is bound to grow into something more if they don’t kill each other first before it all happens
