#breathing difficulties

also haven’t eaten properly in days which probably isn’t helping. can’t afford to get medicine OR food delivered to my house

if anyone could help so i could afford to get food or medicine delivered (self isolating) i would really appreciate it!

Abyss in the Promised Land

He gasped in the musty basement air, being summoned had its drawbacks and having all of the air forcefully pushed from his lungs happened to be one of them. His ears were still ringing as he tried to regain some kind of composure, usually he was told when someone needed him, or at least given a warning but this was unexpected. He coughed as he sat back on his knees, looking out into the room to figure out exactly who had called for him and why.

The Mer was known for being one of the strongest in his pack, he was reckless and tended to not think ahead. That's how he ended up in a human's bathtub, a large bleeding gash across his face and no idea on how he got there. 

Humans were bad, they killed Mers like him yet he was both alive and not dead. Those were the same thing, regardless he didn't expect to be alive. His head pounded and it was likely due to the fact that his gills were still trying to work to breathe. He managed to focus his thoughts for a moment and close his gills, he took in a shaky breath through his mouth and wheezed. 

He pushed himself up on his weak arms, his fins felt heavy and so did the rest of his mostly scaled body. He needed to get out of here, to leave but he would have to change. He hated the process, it hurt and left him with a weak and fragile feeling. 

He watched in disgust as his beautiful rose gold scaled tail split in two and formed a set of human legs. The process of his tail splitting hurt, it was agonizing to feel and the hot tears that sprung into his eyes were a good indicator of that. He took in several dry, wheezing breaths and pushed himself up onto shaking weak legs. 

He tried to step out of the tub which resulted in him tripping and crumpling into a heap on the floor. He winced, his body hurt, the blood from the cut on his face dripped onto the floor, and his long pink hair fell into his face. 

The door to the bathroom opened and a man stood with a cruel gleam in his eyes. The mer struggled to get back up but could barely support their own body weight. The human squatted down to their level and cupped the Mer's chin in his hand. 

"I hope you enjoyed that little bath, it's the only water you'll get to soak in for a long time." The man said with a cruel grin. "So get used to the fresh air, it's all you're gonna get."
