Max: No way, I don't believe you.

Jaune: Oh really? Alzack!

Jaune: But that's not all! Bisca!

Jaune + Bisca:

Max: Oh, come on!

Jaune: Warren, get in on this!

Jaune + Warren:

Max: Ok... At least that's over...

Max: Wait, what!?

Laxus and Gray:

They’re both really similar in a lot of ways, and I think it’d be interesting to see how their magic would be used together

Bickslow and Natsu:

Honestly I just want this one for fun. They’d make it everyone else’s problem

Mirajane and Lucy:

They have a really sweet dynamic, I think it’d be cool to see them side by side in a battle scenario

Gajeel and Gray:

this has been on my mind ever since they interacted in Tartaros right after Gray got his devil slayer magic

Levy and Fried:

We see them interacting a bit on Tenrou, and we know their magic works incredibly well together

Natsu and Jellal:

I know we get a fair amount of Natsu and Jellal, but I think it’d be interesting for who they are as people

Yukino and Mirajane:

We got to see them during the Dragon King Festival and their dynamic is really personal to me. A younger sister who lost her older sister, and an older sister who lost her younger sister. They’re really sweet and I want to see more

Alzak and Bisca:

For being the first two in the guild to get married and have a baby, we don’t really get to see much of them. Which is a shame, they’re absolutely delightful

Cana and Guildarts:

Canas whole motivation for becoming an S-Class wizard was so she’d feel accomplished enough to tell Guildarts that he’s her father. Then it’s a running gag that Cana wants no relationship with him? Seems antithetical. The moments we do have with them are very sweet

Zeref and Natsu

Thank you! I feel so much pressure not to mess up now lol

Chelia feeds into Freed's hopeless romantic side so hard. She's like the devil on his shoulder always whispering about love

Freed loves her but can only spend so much time around her before he gets too worked up and needs a second

Him and Jellal are smarty pants nerds together! Since their magics are opposite (ish) they love to bounce ideas off each other and invent / learn spells no one else can do

They created a spell together that destroyed an entire mountain once that was immediately made illegal and almost put them both in prison

Of course, Freed and Juvia are the most melodramatic duo to ever exist. Everything is the end of the world and everyone is a love rival. (yes Juvia got him saying that)

It doesn't help that they go to the other to "check" if they are being overdramatic about something. They don't think either of them have every overreacted in their lives. Well besides the being evil incident™

Him and Bisca have a running bit that they are siblings. The new members are so confused

Freed adores Flare! He doesn't understand why people find her unnerving. He thinks she's delightful. They have very off-putting conversations

He has beef with Kagura. No one knows about it but in his head he views her as a "coming for his brand". Freed is supposed to be the calm-ish/shy person with sword on their hip. She is copying his aesthetic (Kagura is barely aware he exists)

Laki and him have the most morbid conversations. It's fascinating and slightly horrifying to listen to
