Arc effect au: non canon story part 3
Team rwby and the three members of jnpr are looking out a window staring at the infinite wonders of space.
Ruby: Can you believe we're on an actual spaceship?
Nora: I know! It's so awesome!
Weiss: There's something I don't get if we all showed up to this, wherever this is why is Arc older?
Blake: Not only that but he looked at us like we weren't real at first. He literally pulled a gun on us.
Yang: Yeah this whole thing is freaking weird. *She noticed that Pyrrha looks lost in her own thoughts* You ok P-money?
Pyrrha: I don't know, it's just...when Jaune looked at me specifically it looked like he was seeing a ghost. I don't know why, but that worries me more than it should.
Ren: Whatever this is we'll figure it out, and hopefully find a way back home.
Meanwhile down at the crew deck Jaune is about to enter the elevator to go up and head to the meeting room but instead he's fidgeting with his hands.
Tali: Jaune, are you alright?
Jaune: I don't know how I can be right now. I mean the last time I thought my friends were in this universe it was my own mental state screwing with me, and now they're actually here but it's them from the past where my partner is alive. What am even supposed to tell them? How can I tell them? I-i-it's just-.
Tali puts her hands on Jaune's face.
Tali: I know you've had a hard time when you were on your own, I know that this is a lot to deal with so suddenly, but I know that you can get through this just like you have with so many things before. Just like we all have before.
Jaune calms down and embraces Tali.
Tali: Now c'mon we have a little meeting to attend.
Later in the meeting room Jaune is standing at the table with his friends from remnant and his friends and loved ones from the Normandy.
Jaune: Ok, introductions and explanations are in order. So, are you ready?
"Yes, first of all, I'd very much like to know who these people are," Weiss said, gesturing toward the Normandy Crew. "We can tell that some of them aren't human." She said.
"Is that a problem, Princess?" Jack asked with a raised brow.
Weiss' eyes narrowed at Jack. "Excuse me?"
"That's enough, we're not here to start problems," Shepard cut in, her eyes going from Jack to Weiss.
Jack rolled her eyes and leaned back against the wall.
Jaune let out a sigh before he answered Weiss. "These are my friends; they helped me adjust to this... Universe,"
"Universe?" Ren asked, brow raised.
"I'll explain in a second, but let me introduce you to them all," Jaune began with a small smile. "The woman with the red hair and intimidating presence is Commander, my oldest friend here."
Shepard looked at the seven teenagers with a small smile and gave them a small salute. "Pleasure to meet you all," She told them. "Jaune's told me a lot about you all,"
"Like what?" Nora asked with a raised brow and a smile.
Shepard chuckled. "From your description, you must be Nora," She said. "Jaune tells me you're the chaotic one."
Jaune chuckled. "Next to her is Ashley Williams," Jaune said, pointing to the next woman.
"Nice to meet you, Arc's told us plenty of stories about his adventures with you, can't wait to hear them from you," Ashley said with a smile.
"After her is Garrus Vakarian, the toughest Turian I know," Jaune said with a smile.
Garrus chuckled. "I heard one of you is good with a rifle; I'd like to see for myself," he said.
Ruby chuckled. "I'd love to see who's the better shot!"
"Of course, let me introduce Urdnot Wrex, the actual toughest SoB here... Next to me, of course!" Jaune joked.
Wrex chuckled. "We'll see about that in our next sparring session," He said, before turning to the teens. "If you're as tough as Jaune says you are, I'd love to see for myself too,"
"You'll get your chance, trust me," Jaune told him with a chuckle. "After him, let me introduce the smartest Asari out there, Liara T'soni!" Jaune declared, "Our own little criminal mastermind!"
Liara chuckled. "Don't worry, I'm not a bad guy; I just control them," Liara told them.
Blake's brow rose, "How?" She asked.
"I'm an information broker, the most powerful one in the galaxy," Liara said, her voice tinged with pride.
"And finally, after her, are the two most important people in my life..." Jaune began, looking over to Tali and Jack. "These two are Jack and Tali'Zorah vas Normandy, my wives."
Pyrrha's eyes shot open in shock. "Wives!?" She cried.
Jaune nodded. "Yeah, it was hard to make it work, but we did, and here we are now," He said.
"How... How were you able to get two wives when you couldn't even flirt we me?" Weiss asked, also baffled.
"Oh man, that was so long ago. Trust me, I've changed," Jaune replied with a small smile.
"You said it was long ago for you, but how long?" Ren asked. "For us, those were just a few weeks ago. So we have to ask... How are you here? How long have you been here? And just what did you mean earlier by universe?"
Yang nodded in agreement. "Yeah, and also, why were you so shocked when you saw Pyrrha or even us?" she asked.
Jaune looked at them all for a moment, having to take a deep breath as he prepared to explain everything to this version of his friends. Tali and Jack stood next to him and placed their hands in his, helping ground him before he spoke.
"I've been here for 2 years, almost 3, as for how I got here... It might sound hard to believe, but we're in a separate universe from Remnant," Jaune explained. "Hard to believe, I know, but take a moment to look around and try to deny it."
For a moment, the teenage huntsmen remained silent, thinking hard about what Jaune said. And while they wanted to deny it, they had seen the proof of it before their very eyes.
"As for how I got here... It's a long story, and its not a good one," Jaune told them.
Soon, the blonde knight began to tell them all about everything. He began with the Vytal Festival and how Cinder, Emerald, Mercury, and Neo were posing as students before framing Yang and using Pyrrha to kill Penny, before launching one giant attack on Beacon, which was for one simple reason. To gain the powers of the Fall Maiden and the Relic of Choice.
"Fall Maiden? As in the fairy tale?" Pyrrha asked.
Jaune nodded in response. "Yeah, and Amber, the old fall Maiden, was attacked and in some sort of Coma thanks to Cinder, splitting the Fall Maiden powers between her and Cinder," Jaune explained. "Ozpin chose you to be the next Fall Maiden, but during the transfer, Cinder killed Amber and took the power for herself. You tried to stop Cinder, but you... You died."
The teen's eyes widened in shock, but Pyrrha was the most shocked.
"Cinder put an arrow in your chest, and it hurt us all, but... But before you did that, you kissed me, Pyrrha," Jaune told her, his face looking pained.
Pyrrha looked pained at Jaune's expression, realizing how much her death must have affected him.
"Yang also lost her right arm thanks to Adam," Jaune said. "He also stabbed you, Blake."
Yang looked stunned, not knowing what to say after learning she had lost her arm, while Blake looked guilty, figuring out why Adam must have taken Yang's arm.
"And before you even think about it, don't go running off again, Blake," Jaune said. "It hurt Yang a lot when you just ran off. You lost her trust, and it took you a while to get it back. So don't. It wasn't your fault; it was Adams, and you don't need to protect anyone by running off."
Blake looked shocked for a moment before allowing Jaune's words to sink in and nodding slowly in response.
"After that, Ruby, Ren, Nora, and I traveled to Haven to find answers. Weiss was taken back home, Yang was recovering, and Blake went back to Menagerie for a bit," Jaune continued. "On the way to Haven, Qrow told us the truth about the Maidens, relics, and the brother gods. When we arrived at Haven, Headmaster Lionheart shut the school down and sent the students to Vacuo... We later learn he was working for Salem, the Queen of the Grimm."
"The Grimm have a Queen!?" Weiss cried out in shock.
"How is that possible!?" Blake asked.
"Another long story, but we only discovered Lionheart's betrayal after Raven, Yang's mom, attacked us and worked with Cinder to steal the Relic of Knowledge," Jaune said. "During the fight... I lost it, charged at her, and because of me... Weiss nearly died."
Now it was Weiss's turn to be shocked, and the blonde knight swore that she went even paler than before.
"Cinder speared you through the side with a javelin; you only survived because I thankfully awakened my Semblance," Jaune explained.
"What is it? Some sort of healing semblance?" Ren asked.
"No, my semblance allows me to boost other peoples Aura's and Semblances," Jaune said with a small smirk. "I know, its a rare and powerful semblance,"
"No kidding, we've seen this guy get shot by a freaking tank and live,"
"WHAT!?!?" Ruby and Nora cried.
"That's not even the craziest thing... one time, nora and me got punched by a giant Mech,"
"We did!? Awesome!" Nora cried.
Jaune chuckled and nodded. "Yeah," He said.
Jaune opened his mouth to continue the story, but then suddenly, Team RWBY, NPR, and Jaune began to glow.
"What's going on!?" Jaune cried as he looked at his glowing form.
"I-I don't know!" Ruby cried.
"I think we're being teleported! Again!" Yang cried.
Realizing that Yang might be right, Jaune turned to the Normandy Crew, who looked very worried for their friend, but to calm them, Jaune flashed them a smirk.
"No matter what, I'll be back," Jaune told them. "Arc's word,"
"Wait, Jaune!" Tali cried out, reaching for him.
But before more could be said or anything could be done, Jaune, RWBY, and NPR were teleported out of the ship in the blink of an eye. Blinding the crew for a moment before the light died, and they looked to see eight gone.
"Where did he go...?" Tali asked.
Shepard looked worried but remained firm. "Who knows, but we have to trust him that he's going to come back," she said. "He did promise after all,"
"But how, wasn't him being here in our universe an accident?" Ashley asked.
Shepard nodded. "Yeah, but he's done the impossible before," He said. "I'm sure he'll find his way back, no matter what."
Tali nodded slowly and Jack did as well, knowing Jaune would try to come back no matter what. He had them and Gracie here after all, and he wouldn't leave them behind...
Meanwhile, the 8 of them all reappeared in a forest, with the RWBY and NPR surprised that Jaune was with them. And Jaune himself was also a bit surprised that he was with them as well, and began to wonder if he could find a way back to the Normandy, especially since he had to return to Gracie, as he would abandon his child, nor would he leave Tali and Jack behind.
"Where are we now?" Ruby asked.
Jaune shrugged. "Don't know... Either we're back on Remnant, or..."
"Or we're in another universe," Jaune said.
"Right on the money there,"
The eight of them turned around only to see a girl, with raven black hair, a black leather jacket with small silver spikes, under a black shirt and black ripped jeans, with high-top boots.
"Who are you?" Pyrrha asked.
The girls smiled. "Name's Thalia Grace, and I'm here bring you to our Jaune and Penny,"
Upon hearing the name, Jaune's eyes widened in shock. "Penny... Penny's here!?" He asked.
Thalia nodded. "Yeah, so enough chit-chat, let's get going," he said.
Then, lightning rained down on them, and they disappeared from the forest, as if never there to begin with...
