ugh some new bird thing I made up appearance-wise they're terror birds/agamas/bearded vultures/seriemas attitude-wise they're angry iguanas they run around in packs and have the same hierarchy as lions where there's one male and a bunch of females I'm sure there's a specific word for that type of behavior but I'm too lazy to look it up males have a bright red stripe running down their sides and females just look like this they're about 8-10 feet standing straight but in this world or wherever there's like there's some way bigger guys so if they're ever threatened they have mouth frills like those of the toad-headed agama https://www.google.com/search?q=toad+headed+agama&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwio36yKpKrcAhWDd98KHaVEACEQ_AUICigB&biw=1422&bih=670#imgrc=7-Bq4neiPS_OjM: not that they'd really need defense all too often cause they're fast little guys and pretty strong they have spikes on the back of their legs like some pheasants and chickens and I have no idea what they're called I tried looking up the anatomy of those two species but it didn't say anywhere but anyways the extra spikes are found on both females and males however they're only really ever used when males are trying to murder each other both sexes are aggressive but males are more likely to mess you up and some even stain their white feathers with the blood of their prey to try to show off and intimidate other males. They have some natural red though so the one above is one without any staining they're just kind of emo to be honest but I don't know what to call them
