Bilious
Bilious’ main strength comes from the premise and the presentation, which is like. I guess all of the webcomic? So you know that this one is something special. Was that a nothing sentence? I’ve been slightly agonizing over this review/note taking session for a bit, which I know is kind of stupid, because probably nobody takes my opinions on MSPFAs *that* seriously.
Still, I want to sell Bilious to people. You should be reading Bilious.
Billious is interested in what happens after a game of SBURB ends, from the perspective of the citizens who come after the players. Now, other Fanadventures have done this previously, but they were kind of subtle and not as textual about it (specifically The Tapestry kind of does this, 413 does this but in a completely different way than Bilious, and Desynced does this but not really but also does, I can’t remember at the moment). Bilious is specifically using the SBURBventure model to tell a story about a dystopian future, where everything is under the watchful eye of HER DIVINITY, AKA the only surviving player of the SBURB session that spawned in the universe that our main protagonist is currently residing in. Maybe. As is the case with any good SBURBventure worth its salt, there are mysteries abound, insinuations that the sickness that plagues our protagonist and the universe are one and the same, and implications from that insinuation that our protagonist is, in some important, meaningful way, the same AS the universe, and there might be another one of her?
Also, Bilious is still upd8ing to this day, which is cool, and as I previously mentioned before, I really like Bilious. You should all read Bilious. That one thing I said up above is merely a theory of mine, and I haven’t, like, spoiled a lot of this fanadventure, I don’t think. It’s really good. I know I’m usually more communicative towards like, what I’m feeling towards these fanadventures I’m reading, but I don’t have much more to say, really. It’s got really good characters, an intriguing premise, a genre that is being used more deliberately than just set-dressing, and a world that feels realized but also doesn’t get in the way of the story being told. What more could you possibly want from a fanadventure?

As fountains go, this has to be one of the uglier ones, especially with that bilious green backdrop.
Today’s disabled character of the day is Bilious from The Magic Mirror: Concerning a Lonely Princess, a Foundling Girl, a Scheming King and a Pickpocket Squirrel, who is an amputee
