do u have any moonchaser raising teddy/harry hcs? 🙏
Thank you for the ask!! You know I do ;)
Let me add a premise here: this AU is based entirely on my nostalgia, that means that they live in a fantastical nation where people talk english, the land is dreamlike and evenly inspired on Italy, same with the food and the time period is a makeshift between right now and early 2000/2010 vibes through the lens of a child. All in all I'm basically dumping my nostalgic feelings and the unrealistic future I dream about in this AU.
Teddy is a very energetic and a very moody kid. When he's a toddler he trows tantrums every day. He always find something that upsets him. Harry in the other hand is much calmer and gets bored less likely. For example, let's say they are going shopping for clothes, an activity both of them don't really enjoy. Harry is more likely to stay close to his dads and find entertainment inward: creating a story in his mind, imagining something exciting will happen, he will meet a friend, … Teddy on the other hand will skip around the shop (and be scold if he's too obnoxious) inventing games for himself and asking every few minutes "can we go home now?" (they will stay out for another 4 hours)
About the moody part, if Teddy is more prone to get upset and more difficult to calm down, Harry is likely to get upset after his brother does when they're really small (1-2 yo) but is much simpler to calm down. With time Harry learns to detach his own feeling from his brothers' and it becomes routine for one parent to coax Teddy into getting dressed/eat/clean himself while the other just helps Harry do all of those thing while the kid just totally ignores his bother's antics. Obviously Harry can get very upset too and in need of a lot of comfort. Lastly, Harry is more prone to get sad when something upset him, while Teddy will explode with rage.
If there is something Harry and Teddy have in common is their love for food. None of them is very picky; they are lucky to have two very good cooks in the house who exposed them to various kind of cuisine since they were young. James has the real talent between the two, he's good at cooking and baking, loves doing both, loves providing for his family. He's very creative with it, he will try every complicated recipe that inspires him and will mess around to create new recipes. Remus on the other hand is more for comfort step-by-step recipes, he will follow meticulously his mother's recipes, rarely trying anything new. He is so incredibly good at those that his kids will say he's the best cook, even if he's much less skilled then James.
I wanted to write more but I got really tired 😭. Don't worry I will write more in the future and maybe I'll also find the motivation to write some one shots 😅. You and anyone else is always welcome to ask thought! 😁
