what would happening is a teen or kid gave a statement that actually seems like it could have happened?

Well, I always emphasise that most statements are not genuine.

And, not to say all teens are, but: most visiting our Archives are delinquents trying to slide in a ridiculous story to appease their friends, not a lived experience.

Still, we are an archive. Should there be a statement not blatantly lying for whatever reason, from a teenager*, it would be filed as anything else rather than going into our discredited section.

*In some instances, we may contact their guardians if anything we consider harmful occurred in their statement.
