Bones gives really good bear hugs and tired crewmembers (a.k.a Jim, a.k.a Chekov a.k.a any of his medical staff a.k.a Spock) will fall asleep in his embrace because he's warm and cuddly and 😌

Christine's got really smooth skin, I don't know why but that makes me want to hug her, and her clothes are always a smooth texture so people (Nyota and Bones) steal her scarves

Jim also gives good hugs

And if it's been a particularly bad or long mission he will carry you to your quarters because he strong

Spock isn't one for hugs but will sit next to his friends when they're sad and pat them on the head or carefully rub their back like a cat

Scotty is the kinda guy to pick you up and spin your around when you've done something great and he's proud of you

Chekov is also like this but less strong so he drops people

Uhura has so many layers on her bed and makes sure she's sleeping in a blanket fort almost all the time

Sulu falls asleep in the greenhouse because it's warm and softly humid and Chekov has to store pillows in there so he doesn't get cramp from napping

It's also where he goes when calling Ben and Demora or if he's feeling lonely because it's his happy place

Wow I managed to sneak a bit of angst in there

Bones likes giving hugs because he knows if someone hugs him and pulls his head into the crook of their neck and let's him nuzzle and get comfy that he'll cry his eyes out

He's a big softy

He likes baking and makes jam and scones and has afternoon tea with Spock on the anniversary of Amanda's death or her birthday because she used to hold tea parties with him and I-Chaya

Jim's second best at hugs because he's soft and chubby and good for really getting warm (spock knows this and this very much comes from this post by @lejoursobre )

not ship Millippa? They’re mother and daughter in all but blood!

acknowledge the existence of Ben Sulu in Chulu fics? Just imagine the sheer amount of drama in all that! Same with Worf in Kiradax fics, I don’t want Kiradax shippers to just straight-up ignore the fact that Jadzia was married to Worf. 

normalize person/starship pairings? 

On October 22nd, the Interest form will close, and on the 23rd Writer and Beta signups will go live. Look out for the rules, faq, and schedule document to go up sometime before then. When signups go live, all interested parties who left us their email will get an email announcement with both the Doc and Signup form attached! We can’t wait to get started!
