an into darkness spirk fic where vengeance/khan is featured as a prominent side pairing but everything stays the same (with he/him pronouns for the vengeance and double standards for spock) 

a keenser/ferengi oc story where the ent crew gets tangled with a ship belonging to the ferengi alliance

you mean my Forbidden OTP? Wellllllll...when Khan finished work on the Vengeance, he just fell in love and christened him w/ his blood and semen. They were both made for war, both have black as their signature color, and are both designed to be superior. In a cruel century, with his found family frozed and held hostage, and with no one to talk to except for normal, un-Augmented human beings, all Khan could turn to was his Vengeance, the ship he designed and poured so much of himself into, and that led to...(wink wink)

And there's subtext in the movie itself too. You know when Khan told the ship to "Set destination, Starfleet Headquarters!" and the damn ship just said "Engines compromised. Cannot guarantee destination. Confirm order." instead of just "Unauthorized presence. Access denied." like all other starships would. You could argue "But it could have something to do with Khan being involved in the creation of the ship!", but we also cannot rule out the possibility that Marcus took some extra steps to ensure that "Section 31's flagship" remains in the "right" hands.

So I just walked out of ATSV and this idea came to me like a flash.

Here's the nitty gritty:

An actual Desi-presenting Khan (with a Desi actor for faceclaim) is Miles.

A female version of Khan is Gwen.

TOS Khan is Peter B.

Red Lantern Khan from the crossover with Green Lantern is Miguel.

An actual "John Harrison" is Hobie.

An East Asian-presenting descendant of Khan, also named Khan Noonien Singh, hailing from a universe where his clan succeeded in Total Universal Domination™ is Pavitr.

Another female Khan, who is African-presenting, is Jessica.

A Klingon captain who Miles-Khan inadvertently pissed off is the Spot.

One aspect of their "canon events" is that no matter the universe, Khan Noonien Singh, or any equivalent, will fall madly in love with a fighter starship named Vengeance, and their love story is doomed from the start. (TOS Khan begs to differ, but nobody listens to him.)

After learning this, Miles-Khan is horrified and decides to save his Vengeance no matter what. Red Lantern Khan is ticked off that this "anomaly" is trying to break canon, and attempts to dispose of him but fails horribly.

After fending off the whole Council Of Khans in order to get back home, Miles-Khan ends up in the Main Kelvin Timeline, just post-Into Darkness.
