The Fire of Creation - Smaugust 7
Before, there was nothing, and the sprites of Nothing danced around the Will. Then the mighty fire of creation was set ablaze by the Eldest Ones, and many things Became.
A bit of poetry for this Smaugust piece. It was created in Disco Diffusion, I made a few brushstrokes on it, then upscaled by feeding it to the Snapshot notebook as an init image with the same prompt. The latter is very handy in such that it automatically cuts the image to smaller pieces, renders them out larger with more detail, and stitches them back together. The illustration itself was largely about adding detail, sharpening edges, and adjusting contrast. It's also my first Smaugust piece where I used artists' names in the prompt: "a beautiful highly detailed painting of the majestic dragon of eternal fire flying across the night sky, a spiral galaxy in the sky, lensflare, ultrawide shot, frog perspective, dramatic lighting, cinematic lighting, by lucas graciano, by john howe", "intricate shapes, smaug, lotr", "dof:-2", on accord of John Howe and Lucas Graciano being among my favourite dragon artists.
