The flavors in these Korean Beef Kabobs are out of this world. They are savory, sweet, and just a bit spicy. They taste great and fill you up, and they're great for grilling.
Ingredients: 1.5 pounds of beef sirloin or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes. 1/2 cup of low-sodium soy sauce. 1/4 cup of brown sugar. 3 cloves of garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon of ginger, minced. 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. 1 tablespoon of mirin rice wine. 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes adjust to taste. 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks. 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks. 1 red onion, cut into chunks. Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes.
Instructions: In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, mirin, and red pepper flakes to make the marinade. Place the beef cubes in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish, and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated beef, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and red onion onto the soaked wooden skewers, alternating between ingredients. Grill the kabobs for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the beef reaches your desired level of doneness and the vegetables are slightly charred. Serve the Korean Beef Kabobs hot, and enjoy!
