Thorin was happy. With all the diplomacy winding down, him and Bilbo could finally have a private dinner, the first in weeks!
As they finished eating they talked about Bilbo's upcoming trip to the Shire this summer. "Oh I just hope the neighbours-" Bilbo stopped, and they both watched their now-empty plates roll themselves away, clanging down the stairs as they went.
Thorin took a deep breath as Bilbo rubbed his back with a "deep breaths dearest."
That cursed elf and his stupid magic, cursing all their cutlery!
Well... at least he hadn't gotten to the knives yet...
