Day 5: The Chair
Finally, her long and painful stay had come to an end. Not only would she be gone for at least another year, but i could also get my home office back. I really needed to play some video games lol "is that a new chair?" She would ask while I was putting away the sofa bed. "Cos, didn't you have a different one?" I could feel her judging me already. I knew no matter what I said, she would swing back to my weight gain. "Yea, the uhh... other one was well loved, got a lot of use out of it but... its got pretty old" the look she gave me up and down. My belly acting as an eye magnet as she struggled to look back up at me. "It was a smaller chair wasn't it?" She said as she tor her eyes away from my big gut. "I didn't outgrow the chair, mother, it just began to fall apart is all" I tried to tell her calmly. "Yea... I'm not surprised it fell apart... try not to break that one, it looks expensive" as she turned and left the room... she paused and turned to double-check she didn't leave anything behind. Her eyes scanned the room and again, magnetised to my fat belly. "I think you need to go back to working in office. Working from home isn't doing you any good," as she turned and left.
At the front door and heading back to the airport, she hugged my girlfriend and wished her well as I plod down the stairs with my chonky steps. I went for a hug, and she tried to do the sideways hug again, but I forced a frontal hug on her, thrusting my gut into her. It was the shortest hug ever lol she really doesn't like fat things it seems. And she was gone. My girlfriend had some laundry to do and she told me to go upstairs and play some game. I'm cranky when I don't get to play much. She takes good care of me 😊
Now to work on getting back to normal... When's lunch?
