Prompt 17 - Onslaught
@jegulus-microfic January 17, Word count 592
Previous part First part
They had won. Sirius had told him through the mirror. McGonagall had allowed the brothers a few days away from the castle to centre themselves before the onslaught of people asking them about the trial hit.
“They’re all going to come after you, Pads,” James laughed. “They’ll take one look at Regulus and run the other way.” He loved his fiancé, he really did, but he’d be the first to admit that Regulus could be very intimidating when he wanted to be.
“And that is why I plan to stick to Regulus like glue,” Sirius said, before toppling out of view.
“I will make you regret it,” Regulus hissed, sitting down and centring himself in the mirror, a tired smile forming on his mouth at the sight of James. “Hi,”
“Hi,” James beamed back. No matter how many times he looked at Regulus’s face, he was always stunned by how beautiful he was. He would never grow tired of simply looking at Regulus.
“He’s driving me mad already. I’m half tempted to frame him for something and get them to throw him in Azkaban without parents,” he drawled, his eyes flashing wickedly when Sirius made a disgruntled noise beside him.
“Please don’t do that, Regulus, or else I’m going to have to break him out, and I really don’t fancy a life on the run if you don’t mind,” Remus sighed, nudging James with his toe until he moved to let Remus sit beside him. Regulus rolled his eyes.
“Well, seeing as it's you, I suppose I can just curse him instead. Does that sound agreeable?”
“Perfectly,” Remus nodded with a completely straight face.
“You utter wankers!” Sirius grumbled. “I’m telling Effie,” he got up and stomped out of the room.
“So how are you holding up?” James asked as Sirius clattered down the stairs.
“Pretty well, actually. It was a lot, overwhelming, but it’s over, and we’re finally free of them. We’re going to Diagon Alley tomorrow to sort out all the legal stuff at Gringotts, but we should be back tomorrow evening if Sirius can drag himself away from Effie, that is.”
As if on cue, Sirius came waltzing back into the room with Effie right behind him.
“Boys,” Effie said, her eyebrow raising in warning. “I’d better not hear you threatening to curse Sirius again,”
“To be fair, Effie, it was that or Regulus was going to find a way to get him thrown in Azkaban,” Remus said dryly before leaping to his feet and running out of the dorm room before Effie could scold him.
“Honestly, what am I going to do with you lot. Regulus, darling, let's not attempt to get Sirius arrested, please.”
“Who said anything about attempt? If I want it to happen, it’ll happen,” Regulus scoffed.
“Regulus,” Effie warned.
“Sorry, Effie.” Effie bent down and kissed the top of Regulus’s head and blew a kiss to James. “Be nice to each other,” Effie told them before leaving them to it.
“Tattle tale,” Regulus hissed at Sirius and Sirius stuck his tongue out at him. Regulus’s wand appeared out of nowhere, and while James would love to watch Regulus stick Sirius’s mouth to the roof of his tongue, he decided to come away from the mirror so he could claim plausible deniability when Regulus murdered Sirius. He felt much better after chatting with them. The fact that Regulus was threatening Sirius at all meant he was back to his old self, and James couldn’t wait to see him tomorrow if everything went well at Gringotts.

Covid is still killing more Americans than all opioids combined, each week (2024). We are supposed to "go back to normal" and "don't worry about Covid", despite it having a higher death toll on average. Unlike opioid drugs, Covid can effect literally anyone.
Even the vaccinated are still at some risk of infection, though the new updated shots are much better at preventing breakthrough infections. Why so many in government and the media are willing to ignore the reality of Covid when it's still worse than the opioid crisis is beyond me.
I have returned back to tumblr
I left tumblr for a while it was design I had taken because I felt the pressure in myself to keep studying and also focus on posting it in tumblr I started having the same felling while used to use other social media the notion to be “perfect” well really speaking I am not perfect and more importantly now I am back ,
Well the reason I left was my own insecurity forcing me to look perfect so I left tumblr silently never posted again for well I guess 5 months by now I felt hollow some part of me wanted to post again I lost motivation in studying and most importantly in a race for exam where all so called friends are just snakes trying to pull you down I wanted to express myself again so I am back but this time my page will be fun yesterday focusing on studies !
This is same person , same account but different nature🤗
Your study buddy,
