The characters VS their causes of death
In my AU
After ep 4 in S1 Mr Peterson wasn’t merciful to Nicky and killed him,in Ep 6 trinity and the gang tried to save Nicky but Mr Peterson caught them ,everyone ran and left trinity for dead .Theodore decided to finish her off,one thing he didn’t account for was Aaron finding Nicky’s corpse in the basement,seeing his now dead best friend and another body Aaron broke .he thought his father was protecting him ,but now he sees him for what he really is .Aaron started resenting his father,learning to fight back,The Thing (In my AU) is a combination of the spirits of Mya and Diane.they appear to Aaron and tell him there’s no good left in Theodore,Aaron has to “stop” his father.in S2 Ep 1 after the flash backs Aaron fights Theodore ,but Theodore shows no remorse or regret for anything he’s done.He knows only one Peterson will be walking out this house alive ,but he didn’t know it wasn’t going to be him.in the ending of season 2 the guest and cult are about to kill Aaron ,until the thing(Mya and Diane) kill the cultists and the guest ,.because their combined spirits are stronger.
I think it’s almost confirmed Aaron burned the house down after Nicky escaped and after HN 2 .it was foreshadowed in hide and seek.Aaron was the flame and everything was on fire ,plus who else would want to burn down a place that was supposed to be home but felt like a prison?
