So when are we going to talk about how the infantilization of nonbinary people makes it very difficult for nonbinary adults to be taken seriously?
I saw a Snake Shedding Spell on here and had a way simpler idea (the original idea was also good I’m just the laziest witch on the planet)
It’s a shower spell and you just need an exfoliator and running water.
As you exfoliate in the shower, picture or talk to yourself about shedding the old to invite in the new. Bonus points if there’s a cleansing ingredient in your scrub!
I love simplifying spells (etc) because I’m chronically ill and disabled and because disability laws are shameful in my country I have to work. I have very little energy left over for anything else, so the easier the better!
I love creating my own folk/chaos practice. I love all my little tools, worn down with frequent use. I love my local woods and my own roots. I love my culture and my heritage. I love my city so much now it feels like I finally have a home. I have never loved a land I lived on before.
The sky is strange this morning and I woke up with what might be a cold. My wife let me use her card to order myself breakfast.
I don’t need to be constantly tense, always preparing. Just because my mother lives that way, doesn’t mean I must. I don’t get anxious at the end of weekends anymore and that’s a beautiful thing.
Does divining meaning from the messages on my tea bags count as tasseomancy?

Can I just share real quick how I become “invisible”? Its an incredibly useful little trick I pull when i don’t want to be interacted with in public but I do want to leave my house.
I use the idea of the “third eye” as its been westernized (I don’t call any of them Chakras cuz we have created a westernized version with 7 main energy centers instead of a whole body network. The westernized version is much less complex).
I take a moment and “gather” the concentration around the phrase “I am invisible”. Once I feel like I’m charged up enough, I take my left pointer finger (I’m left handed so feel free to do what feels right!) and place the tip on my “third eye” in the center of my forehead and repeat to myself again “I am invisible”. It works surprisingly well for me!
Lmk if anyone tries or customizes this!
Okay hear me out: Empty pill bottles as spell jars
*Me waiting years for the right courses and books to come out for me: “Well okay then. Guess I gotta do this myself”
I’m going to begin working on a book!
As a queer, nonbinary, AuDHD witch with chronic illness who does things my own way, I often find that spaces ALMOST fit me. Like, I have PCOS and wanna do womb healing work, but I’m not a woman. I love glamour magic but not in “lucky girl” or “art of seduction” way. I don’t believe in the ideas of “divine feminine and divine masculine” because that’s putting human gender ideas on energy (I call it Solar and Lunar energy). So much more.
All of this makes a lot of information out there just not quite work for me.
I’ve always been inspired by S.E. Hinton. At 15 she became sick of the books she was given to read, so she decided to start writing the books SHE wanted to read, and at 18 her first book, The Outsiders was published.
I hope to carry that same “Fine, I’ll do it!” attitude into this project!
Please let me know what you wish you could see in a witchcraft book. I’d love ideas!
