1. If Jaden is adopted by Yugi will she know about shadow games? Will she know about the previous adventures her parents had? Or will she be sheltered from those things until she fights spirit Jinzo?

2. Would Jaden be able to use her powers or understanding of shadow games to help against any of the shadow riders (season 1 villains) because I’ve realized that in GX the first two opponents try to get the games to spin in their favor by either using hostages to distract their opponents or by knowing what their decks will look like. (Granted Camula knowing what is in everyone’s deck isn’t very different from Pegasus using his eye but I digress).

3. How would Jaden react to someone stealing Yugi’s deck and pretending to be her while dueling? (I might have asked this already but the scenario is very funny to me)

4. Would we see more involvement from adults when the spirit keys are introduced? I can’t see Jaden not telling her parents about is going on or them not being contacted when she passes out after the first duel with Nightshroud.

5. I’m pretty sure that the first season will be similar to what we saw in Ennead where everyone thinks Jaden is a boy until the second season and Jaden being revealed as Yugi’s daughter probably won’t be revealed until after the season finale duel with Kaiser but would Crowler then be spending all of season 2 trying to boost Jaden to blue and Jaden just stubbornly refusing to leave?

Now that’s done, here’s the answers to your questions…

Jurai (fem!Judai) will be aware of her powers in Ennead GX because of events mentions in Battle of the Gods, and because of other events that will lead into Ennead GX. Yugi will be aware of them too, and that is why she decided to adopt Jurai when her parents were thinking about the ‘brain surgery’ option. Jurai will also have been bestowed an idea of how dangerous magic could be and the responsibility behind being able to wield it that one must remember. It’s not a toy, and she will know this. Yugi won’t be super strict with her, but guiding instead, to help Jurai learn safely.

Jurai will be able to use her powers to assist and to help her friends, but there’s only so much a Mage can do against a Shadow Item without a focus of their own. However her training will assist her in being able to guide her friends but on the other hand, the stories told about how her mother’s friendships were and how they stood together, will make her both a little more and a little less lenient on certain behaviours of her friends. (Here’s looking at you Chazz/Manjome)

Jurai would not be overly worried about someone stealing a copy of her mother’s Battle City deck because she knows her mother carries a different deck these days, but she wouldn’t be happy about it and honestly I could see her correcting anything the imposter got wrong if she was outted as Yugi’s daughter by this point, since she attends Duel Academia under her birth name both to avoid claims of favouritism and to avoid people swamping her to get to meet her mother, and if not secretly being like ‘this is a really bad copy of mum’.

Yugi and co WILL be informed when Jurai ends up in the infirmary after that duel and Yugi and one of Jurai’s aunts will be coming to the island to teach the students about Shadow Games and how to survive them, as well as help protect the keys and absolutely blast Shepherd for putting such a dangerous task on children.

I’m not going to hide Jurai’s gender, but I am hiding the fact she’s Yugi’s daughter for a while, until the appropriate time to reveal it. Also since Jurai is female and would be in the female dorm, plus the fact that in the Ennead Universe there will be more girls attending because of the Queen of Games, the female dorms will be ranked, so when Jurai gets promoted, she would just be moved floors, rather than to an entirely new building, so she wouldn’t have to leave her friends because they could all meet in the common areas and crash out there if they want.

Erwin tapped his fingers on the table of the meeting room wondering where Levi was. Hanji was sitting to the right of him, chatting away to Molbit about their “babies”, and Nanaba was sitting next to them, and across from her was Miche, making fucking paper airplanes and throwing them at Nanaba who was grabbing them and throwing them back, Erwin sighed “he's late” the four snapped their heads up at his sharp annoyed voice, they stared at him for a few moments before Hanji broke the tense silence “(y/n)’s late as well” Nanaba nodded and said “yeah its weird that both of them are late, do you think they slept in?” Erwin hummed “maybe”

Miche smirked and snorted seeming to know what was keeping Levi and (y/n), Erwin and the rest were being so very nieve.

Miche turned towards the door, and just as he did it slammed open, and there was Levi, his cravat was untied, his shirt was unbuttoned three buttons down revealing bit marks and hickeys on his neck and chest, his pants were unbuttoned and unzipped revealing his boxers, blushing heavily, and he was breathing heavily.

“sorry I'm late I was doing………stuff” that’s when you swaggered in “I’m stuff” Levi froze and muttered “shit”

Erwin froze, Hanji burst out laughing, Molbit dropped his papers and his mouth dropped open, Nanaba fell out of her chair, and Miche stood up and high fived you.

But if Katsuya and Yugi get married does Katsuya become Muto Katsuya or does he keep his original name? Or is it one of those scenarios where he keeps his original name for professional work and Muto for his everyday life?

In the Ennead universe, Katsuya will become a Mutou if he marries Yugi, because he would rather carry on the Mutou name then that of his father, because they were the ones who helped him reclaim his life and create a path forward that he could be proud of.

How would Onesan/Yami react if/when Yugi started having a plushie in her mindscape/soulscape that represented her/his memories with the pharaoh?

I have a vague idea but at the same time my brain keeps going to how to make it angst and my brain keeps going to what is that happened during the Dartz incident right after Yugi is removed.

I’m blaming Help Me on this ask. Well mostly Help Me, the sleep deprivation probably hasn’t helped much but the angst in Help Me definitely created this thought.

Help Me is a fascinating fic that I have to be in a very specific headspace to write, so I am glad that it has emotional impact on others too. XD

Oneesan/Meisa/Yami would react with joy when she first discovered it because it would mean that her twin/partner subconsciously considers her important enough to have a whole thing just for memories of her. However, if that was discovered in Yugi’s empty soul room after they were lost to the Orichalcos, that would also drive home just how much the Pharaoh had screwed up and make that heartache so so so much worse.

Or they just randomly decide to cause people of forgery. You share enough of your process on this account and change your story more than I did with some (most) of my papers in college.

I think this is just a case of someone wanting to share in their misery by being a troll.

I saw both your Yugi and Katsuya raise Jaden/Judai and your mermaid post and my brain went to the duel with the admiral where the guy basically kidnaps Jaden/Judai after the duel. (I don’t know why I say basically he did kidnap him)

If that happens how badly does everyone react? Mom, Dad, Aunts and Uncles, Kaiba he’s probably also an uncle and just refuses to admit it.

Mom was already on the island because she got called to help teach the student Duelists how to handle Shadow Games and she's already PISSED about the situation and that just makes it worse.

Dad was at home with the twins, Shizuye and Suguru, and when he finds out, he gets the next boat to the island with them.

One aunt is there already because she has to be, and starts sending monsters to look for him. The others are scanning for information about the admiral and trying to locate him.
