Please PLEASE please, people need to start reading Giacomo Leopardi's poems. And i mean non italians. He deserves the fame Kafka and Camus have on Pinterest and Tumblr. His fandom his already huge in Italy, can't Imagine what would happen if other depressed teens found out about him. They would go nuts.
"if you like Sansa it mean that you are a mean girl and you used to bully people" yeah, no..i actually was bullied so badly into submission and silence in the hope to not being perceived by other kids around me that my teacher used to call me "the lonely sparrow" from an italian poetry where the poet used to describe the pain he felt into never being accepted and loved by other people around - that perceived him as different - and into observe from afar the life of those that apparently were like him but unlike him were..happy enjoying the best part of their life : like the little sparrow out of the poet's window that silent and small and defendless watched all the other sparrows enjoy the sunny days. Now that i am grown tho, i am more nice and confident and i can garantee that people that bullied me where always like Cersei or Joffrey..damn even MARGAERY Tyrell and never like Sansa Stark!
- ah by the way she did nothing..I joke about it now but imagine see a kid from 6 to 9 years being bullied so bad that it reminds you of a poetry by Leopardi, the man that is famous for 3 poetic phases - historical pessimism , COSMIC pessimism and eroic pessimism - and all you can do is saying "so funny". - i am talking about myself because someone said me this, i do not pretend to talk about every victim of bullism.
rip Giacomo Leopardi you would've loved having a tumblr blog
