Luckily it made it to adulthood and I got to release it :) very sleepy dude who didn't like me very much 😅 from Houston TX!
Bonus pink katydid from New Orleans aquarium! At the time the guy showing us said that they didn't know what gene made them pink at the time, but maybe they know now :D
Looks like one of the Spodoptera armyworm moths but there are a bunch of them in your area that look similar. A yellow-striped armyworm moth might be more likely. Either way, glad they made it to adulthood!
