like itll never work out but there was a split second where it almost could have. starscream experiences a moment of joy brought on by her new friends and her connections with the human children, namely alexa, and earnestly trusts hot rod with a piece of herself and then what does she do. thats right baby its self sabotage. or as i like to call it. the starscream special.

starshot is like okay so we are projecting a hatred for our inner selves onto each other because we see each other as emblematic of a place where we have failed (too soft, lacking skill, too trusting, has the love you desire vs emblematic of misplaced trust, the skill you dont know if you have, too hard on the edges) and we dont talk it out we just wrestle. and we are both girls.
