Findings as of late

It's been occurring to me over the course of this year just how gorgeous and sweet moths are, and butterflies by extension, and I've been starting to especially like them because of the fact that they're associated with the gentleness of nighttime. I mean look at this particular little friend who was on my bathroom door back in May - the huge, curious eyes, the sheer F L U F F around the neck that looks like a poofy scarf, the elegance of the wings, and the dainty little antennae and footsies. The energy that moths like this one give off is almost exactly the same as the heroine of my WIP first book, which is precisely why she's going to have them written in as her animal motif. 🥹💓🌙
