Boris my GBB molted again! Were looking bigger once again!
I was initially drawn to this tree due to the interesting new leaf growths and missing bark - and then I noticed this adult cicada hanging out on one side of the tree! Not the greatest quality bc I had to zoom in to avoid disturbing it and the sun was setting, but still clear enough to see the patterns on its back.

these past few days have been a bit stressful to me, but i tried to find joy in every one of them to sum it up in a post 🥺 i haven't felt this creative in a while though, and it makes me really happy to work on all the projects i have at the moment! meeting up with my younger stepsister was nice too, but she was.. pretty grumpy (probably because she's 14?)
✨!! — today’s little joys: ⇢ continued crocheting the tablecloth; ⇢ worked on my "confetti" project; ⇢ sewed an alien toad and started making its habitat; ⇢ experimented with the journaling style again; ⇢ finally mailed all my cards and envelopes; ⇢ read 44 pages of the collection of novellas; ⇢ started the book for this august's reading postcard exchange prompt; ⇢ had a sleepover with my stepsister; ⇢ went to an art exhibition at the biology museum with my stepsister.
