During the sixth round of Ragnarok, Hades mentions a god conducting experiments. Even Persephone knows who the king of Helheim is referring to, but Ares does not.

That god is Beelzebub, the lord of the flies.

Despite Ares’ status being the feared & brutal god of war, he never lets it get between the relationship he has with you. He's gentle, compassionate & quite humorous.

When you're with one another privately, he’s curling up to you and laying his head on your hips. Feeling your warmth and your hand run through his air sends him onto cloud nine. A smile is drawn on his face which makes you smile as well.

If you’re attending any event among the gods, you can bet that he’s there as well! He's holding your waist, flexing both of you to the cameras, giving you a drink, chatting with others while you're next to him or looking in your direction when you're not near & ever eager to join you once more. He makes sure that everyone knows you're his & he’s yours! <3

Lazy afternoons with him would be uncommon but not rare. 

“Mmm…honey, please.” He draws out, yawning as the afternoon sun hits his eyes, “I don't want to get up yet.” “Me neither but you have a meeting to go to. You'll gain energy on the way.”

5. He'd pause his task when he'd see the frown drawn on your face. If you tried to hide it, he’d know that something's up. 

(He's the god of war, so I have a feeling that he's accustomed to seeing people at their worst and being aware when anyone feels like that.)

He may lead you onto your chair, teapot and teacup on the table and his hands on your shoulders. “It’ll be alright. I’ll deal with whatever or whoever's hurt you.” He whispers firmly as he pours the tea into your cup and settles down on a chair close to you. His heart breaks when a few stray tears drip from your eyes and reflect the light from above to the table.

He'll embrace the tide beside you.

6. Draw a fingertip up and down his abs and he will fluster for a moment then GLOAT! Whisper praises in his ear as well and he's yours. 

*Hermes might make fun of him alongside Loki (obviously) for being so smitten with you but he does not care. He's yours & you're his.

Not once have I actually cared about any pop culture depiction of the Greek God of War other than to roll my eyes at Yet Another 🙄 toxic masculinity Ares—whether in video games, anime, movies, television show, not even ye old Disney Ares—but this Ares feels like a breath of fresh air.
