azami coming from a family of doctors. azami using their sorcery to cause harm instead of help. azami being a powerful, trustworthy figure to chihiro after his dad died but choosing to use his influence to ENABLE him instead of helping him… he makes me so sick. azami my stupid middle aged war veteran how i love and hate you and your inherent penchant for causing harm.

also, i think he and shiba are two sides of the same self-awareness coin (i think im funny). shiba acknowledges that he's causing more harm to chihiro by enabling his quest for revenge, but azami seems to be more in denial about it despite being just as aware. something something using the kamunabi as a way to alleviate his guilt and justify his actions. i think they should both hate each other's treatment of chihiro a little as a treat, those hypocrites.

How is Azami an enabler when he actively tried to stop Chihiro from his mission? He tried to take away the Enten. He tried to stop him from stopping the Rakuzaichi and went to investigate it. He tried to stop Chihiro many times, and yet Chihiro is stubborn enough to not let that happen.
