“ In fact, the recent paperwork about the new organization suggests that they're going to rely largely on volunteer staff.”
Can they force NDAs on volunteers? Can’t imagine how horribly Meghan would treat people who aren’t even earning wages to work for her.
I have to do one for the organization I volunteer with. I get financial details and people's contact information in my work with them and our NDA/confidentiality agreement basically says I agree not to share anything I received and if I'm found to have shared anything, they can ask me to resign my position on the board.
It's pretty ordinary so if that's all the Archewell NDA is - you agree not to share or disclose anything you learn while working with us - then there's nothing wrong with that. But the issue is that the Archewell NDAs are, allegedly, far more exhaustive. And it's not really proper to ask a volunteer to give over life, limb, electronic devices, and social media accounts the way Meghan allegedly requires of her employees.
I am curious who the volunteers will be. Will they be Sussex Squad showing up to support their favorites? Will they be professional consultants, the way James Holt and Shauna Neb seem to have converted their positions?
I'm kinda hoping those Sussex Squad social media warriors show up to volunteer so we can watch them find out.
