#arcane characters

and what fanfics do you enjoy reading (if you do) in the Arcane fandom?

My favourite is Ekko, because I think that beyond being the greenest of green flags, he’s the only one with a real political consciousness —not just ethical, but also practical— and the only one who actually carries out a movement that genuinely helps people instead of indirectly harming them. And because he’s a sweetheart too, that as well.

And the one I like least… In the first season I couldn’t stand Sevika because she seemed like a traitor with no principles, but in the second I grew fond of her. I think I’ll go with Ambessa, who I think is a massive asshole, and with Marcus, who was basically a fucking rat.

Jinx: used to be Powder. Blue hair, mentally ill, slay fashion sense, was injected with some drug that super-serumed her. accidentally kills multiple people including her adopted dad and maybe her birth parents (that was never clear to me) 9/10

Ekko: mr loverman, The Boy Saviour (?? how so??). does time travel but can only do it for four seconds. saved Jinx like multiple times. total simp for her. traveled to a couple other universes. led a rebellion on a hoverboard. aura is off the charts. either helped defeat or tried to help defeat God (see Victor). 10/10

Vi: red hair, had an emo phase. butch lesbian through and through. dies (? maybe?? not too sure, maybe just at one point). 7/10 would be more but abandoned her little sister after their parents died like I get that you're grieving and angry but really?

Caitlyn: blue hair also but more boring. mom got killed by Jinx. became a cop. somehow Vi found that hot. also a lesbian. she and Vi get together at some point. maybe dies (??). 6/10 would be lower but she's hot as hell and at some point she rebelled against her fellow cops

Vander: dad of Jinx and Vi (I think??) somehow. werewolf man. also dies. 3/10 need more info but I know Isha died trying to take him out

Isha: cute as hell. Jinx's little sister. doesn't talk but doesn't need to to kick your ass adorably. dies in what is possibly the most heartbreaking scene I've ever seen. 10/10

Jayce: maybe a scientist?? acts more like the dude who profits off of other inventor's creations and claims them as his own. big and buff. sucker for hot badass women and genius twinks. dies (??). 5/10

Mel: pretty golden face tattoo leader lady. badass as hell. possibly has the hots for Jayce. mom is controlling and possibly an evil dictator. also maybe dies. 10/10

Victor: scientist and inventor but also God?? chronically ill, slavic accent (I think, I'm not too good with accents), likes boats. turns the entire world into mind slaves after becoming God then decided to retire from being God because Jayce said "gay rights" and talked him down. 9/10

Silco: aforementioned mafia boss dad. adopted Jinx. knew her parents somehow. dies because of something Jinx did. 6/10 possibly tried his best but also was in fact an evil mafia boss.

Maddy: everyone hates her, not sure why. was gay for Cait at some point but then tried to execute her but then got shot in the head herself and died. 2/10 need more info

mustache man: don't know his name but looks like the Lorax. bombastic mustache. super genius and super chill. plays guitar. mentored Ekko. dies. 7/10

Cait's mom: badass. milf. dies. 9/10 don't need any more info honestly.

Sevika: not sure if that's her name, I think it is. Silco's thug. gives me Maddy vibes somehow. cannot control Jinx but desperately tries. dies I think. 5/10

Ambessa: Mel's mom. hot as hell and badass (looks like a genetic thing with their family) but evil. fought a war while pregnant. possibly dies. 6/10

Arcane Inktober is here!!!

First I would like to thank @samstarstuff for helping me find creatures to add to the supernatural list.

I've tried to make the text as easy to read as possible but just in case anyone is having trouble with it, I'll place the list in the keep reading section. I've also tried to be as fair with the character selection and placement as possible, whether I achieved that is debatable.

There are no rules for this event and you are not required to complete a certain amount of days, you can even do one day if you wish. This is for fun I'm not going to be forcing anyone to participate in specific days or complete the entire event. Feel free to use this card however you wish and if you are going to share it to any platform, please provide credit.

I do request that you tag any posts related to arcane inktober with the tag #arcane inktober. If you would like to, please tag me at @sassysnakeillustrations, as I want to see them! You aren't required to do either of these though.

The supernatural list is optional and is only there as a guide. I will personally be using a combination of a random number generator and personal selection to decide which creature I will turn the character of the day into, but you are free to use it however you wish.
