"i would argue theyre equally important. the hextech plotline and classism plotline were directly intertwined with eachother. the undercity revolting was used as justification for jayce to allow hextech for weapons. hextech and piltovers weath werent able to help viktor enough for him to even live past his 30s, so in his desperation he went to singed, a poor undercity scientist. which jayce later reprimanded him about because "zaunites are dangerous". the ONLY zaunite with access to any sort of hextech was jinx, because she stole it. hextech WASNT being used for weapons at the time when she stole the crystals, and yet undercity residents werent allowed access to it. they abandoned a very sizable and important chunk of the plot for... what. for what? there was no reason for them to abandon the classism plotline, especially with how heavy-handed they were getting earlier in the same exact season. peaceful protestors, including children, were sent to prison. and then later in that same season those protestors eagerly fight alongside the oppressive class and lose their lives for it. it was just not smart for them to leave the classism aspect of the show in the dust when it was the driving cause of at least 50% of the plot"
