The 'A-Nuts' from USGI PASGT Helmet Suspension Liners were very commonly used by Special Forces for attaching NVG Mounts where a standard hex nut might protrude in and lead to potential injury
Here I'm using one to install a CAG 2-Hole NVG Shroud to my Protec ACE Skate Helmet to run as my night vision bump helmet
more goofy modifications to come later
I had @nightvisioninc convert my #anvis nogs to #dtnvg recently. They did a great job and the lightweight ANVIS objectives are super snazzy. #wilcoxg24 I’ll try to post up detailed pics on blacksheepwarrior.com in the future. https://www.instagram.com/p/CNSPfX6H5Vr/?igshid=1oja63v62b3k0
Michael: I hate you with every inch of my being.
Anvis: ...
Anvis: That's not a lot of inches...
i have such strong feelings about the idea of Mavis and Angus getting married in the future and i want to talk about it
((i hc their first kids to be twins, taako and lup cry for three straight days))

Delta Force RBR S4 Combat Helmet, Mid-1990's
Previous posts on this helmet I've made were technically still work-in-progress, but I'm happy to say I can finally put a lid on this project now.
Only thing I could think to add at this point other than an original 1st Gen. NVG Strap Mount (which is unlikely to happen lol) is maybe some more glint fabric taped on the top of the shell and a Surefire 6P taped to the left side strap, but both of those are entirely optional additions.
^Partially based on this reference where the battery box and SDU-5/E strobe are visibly velcro'd on either side of the NVG Strap Mount, as opposed to awkwardly tucked underneath it or tacked on over top of it (such as in the references below).
