Okay so it’s actually still Saturday for me here but only like 1 hour from Sunday so close enough lol. Tagged by the awesome @blackbirdofasgard who has made the same Loki show to Date Everything fic writing shift as me recently haha.

I’m finishing up writing the +1 chapter of my first DE fic (for Eddie/Volt/reader) and honestly it’s run away from me in a good way! I have been writing more and more and it’s almost entirely pure fluff and a bit of hurt/comfort for flavor lol. But the story did start to lead me to trying to write some actual spice which was NOT expected for my acespec ass who has never written a single word of actual smut beyond sensual fades to black lol. I may end up making that its own “deleted scene” of sorts and make a whole other fic, though, I have to see where it takes me!

ANYWAY rambling aside here is some of flustered Eddie dancing with live wire/the reader

Now who’s learning from Volt?” You tease softly.

“Can’t let you think he’s the only one that knows how to sweep you off your feet.”

“Never, you do that all the time just by looking at me.”

Even with his face hidden you think it’s heating up again, based on the way he nuzzles a bit further into the crook of your neck. “You enjoy flustering the shit out of me, don’t you?”

You laugh and lace your fingers in his wiry hair. “I do,” you admit. “But it’s because you’ve spent so long protecting yourself and stamping down your feelings. I love you getting to express yourself and be happy. Plus, I mean every word, it’s not just platitudes.”
