Sam is not exactly a social butterfly. He is very professional and I think it takes time for him to get friendlier like a lot of introverted people. But he does like to interact with the cast . Remember in that recent podcast when he said he tried to leave a project when other cast was advised not to talk to him because the director wanted to be all method. People who have spend some time with him has pictures of him like Mathew Santos, his violin coach,Ryan. I don't know if anyone else posted him this season I am not keeping up with everything. He doesn't tell people not to take pictures because there were bts pics of him from Kp in season 2, bts pics from various people in season 1. Newsreader cast and crew has also posted bts of him as Dale. It's just rarer than other more extroverted cast. And when Jacob is around, Jam is usually in their own world. Jacob still finds time to mingle a lot more though. He is very social.

Jacob has always shown to care about issues like misogyny, queer representation, etc., not to mention that he has been open about dealing with mental illness and domestic violence. It’s certainly the reality that he has to be more careful with his words in every way as a Black actor, but I also just think he is a more sensitive and compassionate person. Sorry.

I was speaking at the macro level. What you said was at the micro level. It’s possible for us to both be correct.
I think if Lestat got beheaded in episode 6, screeners would have been all over it, spilling the beans. I don't know if he will be beheaded or not, but if he does, it will be in episode 7, which, to my knowledge, no screeners have seen. Besides, we all know no matter if they do chop his head off, he won't die. Lestat is the main character of this series, so killing him off isn't really an option.

I think because of the changing political climate, homophobic higher ups are getting bolder and intentionally gave TVL less production budget so they'll get an opportunity to cancel it. ( Production and marketing budgets are different) Now there are people who wants the show to do bad encouraging people to review bomb and leave bad reviews. I'm not talking about people who have actual criticisms. Just the ones who are acting like kpop stans. Queer shows are getting cancelled left, right and centre and the few ones we have is no gothic drama. I love simple shows about queer joy but I want my toxic queers too. I'd be so upset if this show gets cancelled.

Sorry I think people want Jacob to be more upset about this season than he was. And if you read the entire GQ article his main concern was that Louis' entire storyline was going to be mourning Claudia and he thought that storyline wrapped up nicely. Obviously, it is emotional for him having daughters. But they convinced him the storyline was going to move him back to Lestat.
I really think people need to read that part in complete context because it seems to be getting twisted. And this seemed to had been his sentiment when the show was first renewed. Because we saw how he was acting at SDCC and that man was hyped up and hasn't changed his tune every since.
Now with Eric, I absolutely think he isn't into corporate BS. He also might have wanted DM to be more front and center this season too.
And I definitely think he got his hand slapped talking a tad too much about J&S and that is why this time he isn't doing recent interviews with just the three of them.

Just for the record I don't know a thing about them nor do I care.
My speculation was more about Jacob, because I couldn't see him just hanging out in NYC alone and not going back home, if given the chance.
Unless he has other things to attend to promo wise, we don’t know.
