Hi anon, don't worry I was a little vague partiality on purpose!

I was talking about the move that Diggia did on Marc at Assen that is similar to what Marc did to Valentino in 2015 and the fact that EVERYONE was crucifying Diggia for what he did. I thought it was really hypocritical when Marc was and is 'till this day celebrated for "standing up to the bully" that apparently was Valentino.

(I am going to ask a lot of talented authors this question because I am curious to know their answers!)

Second... Gosh. There are so many from this year. The people who went through every single chapter of SU and/ot DOAM and left a comment... I would send them a holiday card if I could 😂 they all stick out to me because they didn't have to post every single chapter, but they did.

Also got a comment on CARE (my period comfort fic) detailing their own endometriosis troubles and how that fic gives them comfort. It made me cry (in a good way).

Anon, I have read your post very carefully and think it deserves airtime because it makes a very nuanced argument that I think all fans fearing anti-blackness should read.

Your point about the actors not being responsible for the writing is important and they have been making it clear that they didn’t get their way more often than not.

Unfortunately, the actors do most of the interviews (and unfortunately bear far too much responsibility for explaining the episodes we watch so we can fully understand what’s happening 😭). That makes someone like Sam, who knows Lestat very well, way too large a target for choices he didn’t make.

So, I must agree. This beef with him is about stuff that happened in 2022 and not now. And has nothing to do with whether or not he (rightly!) deserves to be cheered on for his powerful performance in the role.

I’ve been trying oh so hard to find the right introduction and flow for the second chapter. I have at least ten chapters planned right now. Please bear with me; Mama is working on it 🖤

Sam is not exactly a social butterfly. He is very professional and I think it takes time for him to get friendlier like a lot of introverted people. But he does like to interact with the cast . Remember in that recent podcast when he said he tried to leave a project when other cast was advised not to talk to him because the director wanted to be all method. People who have spend some time with him has pictures of him like Mathew Santos, his violin coach,Ryan. I don't know if anyone else posted him this season I am not keeping up with everything. He doesn't tell people not to take pictures because there were bts pics of him from Kp in season 2, bts pics from various people in season 1. Newsreader cast and crew has also posted bts of him as Dale. It's just rarer than other more extroverted cast. And when Jacob is around, Jam is usually in their own world. Jacob still finds time to mingle a lot more though. He is very social.

They made it sound like he doesn't like fans when that's not what he said. He doesn't want the US media to butt out, just that he is an introverted anxious person who finds the whirlwind of press overwhelming. Anon said "3 strikes you are out with me". I sense unnecessary hostility when he is not even talking about normal fans. The craziness he talks about is the unnecessary hate and horrible stuff people cooked up about him and the tiring press and events that is draining for anyone with social anxiety.
