Hi, do you have any theories on when exactly Aang decided to wait after the comet to fight Ozai? I donāt think it was right after the invasion, I remember Sokka saying āthe new plan is the old planā aka master the elements and fight Ozai before the comet. Personally I think it was after the play and the ending understandably scared Aang. But this remains one of the only ATLA questions I feel like I donāt have an answer to beyond pure speculation.
And going off that, HOW did that conversation happen without Zuko present?? Lol. And even more wild, how did no one think to let him know?? I donāt even have a personal theory for that one!
Haha, yes, this one bothered me so much that I thought a lot about it, and I agree, itās most likely happened after the play.Ā
I wrote my version of events of why Zuko wasnāt there and how he didnāt learn about it in this fic.Ā

BALANCING ACTS - Nicholas Hytner
Nicholas Hytner became Director of the National Theatre in 2003, and spent the next 12 years reinvigorating the theatre. He changed the publicās perception of what theatre is, and introduced new talent, directing some of the most celebrated actors of our times. Balancing Acts takes us behind the scenes during his stewardship.
The design for the cover is inspired by theatre posters, illustrated with bold abstracted glimpses of the National Theatre. It uses Helvetica, which became the āhouse typefaceā for their posters and promotional material, during Hytnerās time at the theatre.
An excerpt from Nicholas Hytner's book, Balancing Acts, that discusses the importance of the actor's interpretation in Shakespeare's Hamlet.
āRory believed āI did love you once,ā so we believed him, but he trusted Ophelia as little as he trusted anyone else at Elsinore, as little as he trusted himself. In five words, he told you what could have taken Tolstoy four chapters. What he didnāt tell you, of course, was what Ophelia felt about him.āĀ

One could argue, rather convincingly, that Nicholas Hytner is our greatest living director of live theatre, serving as the Artistic Director of Londonās National Theatre from 2003-15. Among his many successes are the musicalĀ Miss Saigon, The History Boys, The Madness of King George, andĀ One Man, Two Guvnors. He takes readers behind the scenes of many of these productions in his fascinating new book, Balancing Acts, available now from Knopf.
How Stress will Ruin Your Life...
Tumblrs will talk about stress and how to make the most in the midst of a bad day, but the health precautions are what we all should be, for lack of a better word, worried about. Stress can bring more acne, make you physically sick (i.e throwing up, not being able to eat, abdominal cramps), ladies, your period may stop (and your hormones will got nuts!), and you may lose out on productivity. Oh, and heart conditions? Stress can cause those too.Ā
Hereās what you can do:
- eat a healthy breakfast, lots of protein and antioxidants
- keep your areas clean, this may just be me, but jesus, if itās messy I canāt do a diddly darn thing.
- Sleep a full eight hours, you canāt run on no sleep, not efficiently anyways.
- go for a run, exercise releases endorphins and helps with relaxation and productivity.
- study with your pet, I have a small dog who will sleep beside me and while Iām studying Iāll talk to her and pet her. Itās good for both of yāall.
- plant a garden, itās relaxing and easy. Gardening provides a small, less time consuming outlet. You can do it wherever! An old fish bowl, a wooden box, whatever.
Do what makes you happy, find what works for you. Take care of yourself.
Love, ambersghost
