Whenever I remember that everyone agreed to leave and abandon Miss Peregrine unconscious and unprotected, I get angry.
The worst part isn't even that Millard drugged her, it's how the others didn't really care about it, nobody cared about leaving her alone with the children who can't even protect themselves. Nobody considered the possibility of someone arriving at the Portman's house who could be a danger to the children and her. No one considered how she would feel when she woke up and realized she had clearly been drugged by the children she had cared for so well all those years.
I know nothing happened, but what if it had? The blame wouldn't be solely Millard's; everyone who went on that adventure shares some of the blame, and none of them personally regretted it.
why did riggs make bronwyn so clueless in amod, i feel like she's not herself anymore. same with millard, why's he such a dick? he was never emotionally intelligent sure but he wasn't a total fucking cunt
i feel like these two are the biggest victims of the second trilogy's whole "you get one character trait" thing, so bronwyn is strong but that means she has to be stupid and doesn't understand sarcasm and is the "loving himbo" type sidecharacter, and millard is smart so he's got to be standoffish and unaware and a huge fucking asshole for no damn good reason
One of my personal headcanons is that Glenn looks identical to Meryl. Like those guys have the exact same face. It’s funny because haha played by the same person but I love the idea that it’s in canon too- that Glenn has this super deep connection to a family member who is so damn like him personality and goal wise and yet neither has ever discovered the other exists. Maybe I love this because I want so desperately for Glenn to know about his grandfather - to know that there is a family connection there to a man who was a superstar. That his dreams of fame and fortune were so closely shared and achieved by someone who is a part of him.
And you just know Meryl would be the kind of grandfather who would hate Bill with a passion and absolutely spoil Glenn.
That stardom really is in his veins!
(And DO NOT get me started on the Close family/Night imagery connection anyone who asks me will know I will talk for hours about this stuff 😂, but yeah always and forever disappointed that people don’t remember that Meryl got literal stardust and moonlight made into a part of him, and also sad that he didn’t, uh, make Christine after that happened, then we could’ve had the joke that Glenn really literally does have stardom in his veins 😔) no but seriously I could talk about Glenn and Meryl forever so I’ll stop 😂🫶
