2021 Sketchbook 6!

Some base sketches for the Ichigo drawing, and the parkour OC’s in this batch. >w>

after years of getting random intense urges to design the cast of firebringer and draw up scenes from the book i’m finally getting around to it, starting with color palettes. the first six are the main cast, two after are the main character’s bio parents, then the four does are the first four guys’ moms, and finally the two villains and a nice old dude who dies on page two. i forgot the old doe who’s really chill and i love her, but otherwise this is the main red deer cast.

Ooooooh that's a GOOD one. Jill would, without a doubt, dress up as her dad. Which would be really funny

Griffith and Riley would DOMINATE at Halloween. He can turn into a wolf, she can shift her physical features and whatnot-- they would KICK BUTT. Their costumes would vary from year to year, so it would depend on if they wanted their costumes to match. If they did.... either the White Witch and Maugrim, or some random but insanely iconic human duo. If they wore individual costumes, Griffith would very likely be the Darkling or Merrick the Monstrous from Race To The Bottom Of The Sea, and Riley would be either Raya from the Disney movie or a Star Wars character

Rebecca would be either Rapunzel or a book character no one else had heard of, like Princess Anidori-Kiladra Talianna Isilee. Oh or Sophie Hatter just because

Alyth and Anton would either go as Anne and Gilbert or as Yzma and Kronk

Rebecca would doodle a cat or something. Or Elvish runes

Jill would draw stick people with enough exuberance that you would actually be mildly impressed by them. Also blueprints of the building she's planning to break into

Anton is more likely to start throwing the crayons at Alyth to annoy her or something

Alyth would make a to do list, then end up throwing the crayons back at Anton

Marina and Griffith are the only people on this list that can actually draw so far. She would probably end up drawing something from one of her visions, even on accident. He would would draw something incredibly good and then crumple it up and throw it at Jack

1: How do they present themselves to others? Ahh this is a pretty good one!! Okay, so for Alyth there was a long time in her life where she was fairly closed off, and didn't show who she really was to others. She didn't want to get close to be people because of her traumatic backstory, and so she was usually pretty formal and overly polite. This fully did not last for long. Riley, on the other hand, presents herself as exactly who she is: cheerful, a little weird, and happy to make new friends!

15: Can you name five personality traits they have? Alyth: stubbornness, fierceness, a very determined need to protect her people, an intense temper and bravery. Riley: friendly, a bit silly, will always fight for her friends, persistent and talkative

28: How do they get out a difficult situation? At one point Alyth is literally in a difficult situation and her answer is straight up murder but in her defense she was in a bad place emotionally at the time. Riley would probably go "welp that's not ideal" and then start figuring out what her next steps would be. Oh, or she would call her best friend Griffith and make him help her, which he would after lots of theatrics
