Steven moves like he's afraid he'll break you, afraid to wake you. He always kisses you before he lies down. He hesitates to get out of bed in the morning, not wanting to disturb you. He likes to be the big spoon. If you're not on your side he will lay partially on top of you. Getting up in the morning when Jake is fronting is nearly impossible. He's like an octopus. You have to convince him to release you, which usually involves kisses as bribery.

i realised i really like heavy drums in music. i was walking outside- i’m not feeling fully boxkin right now. sometimes i’m more of a boy wearing cardboard armour - the kind you’d wear in the latest create update, or how a kid would wear it if he was pretending to be a knight.
other times i’m just a boy wearing a cardboard box, or paper bag like mono from little nightmares 2. sometimes it’s just a folded paper hat made of card. it all depends on how frightened i feel. the more i am, the more inanimate i start to become.
and this one song came close to its end - “175 months” by dave, and a man jumps on the end of the track to say, “can i, can i go on to put the drums on top of both of those, M?” and this heavy percussion starts beating in, like the sound of slamming into or kicking cardboard 📦
The feeling when two of you want tacos for dinner, one of you is voting for the leftover lasagna in the fridge, one of you wants baked chicken with goat cheese, and one of you wants just steak.. and obviously you have to compromise bc there's no way you're eating four different things for dinner just to satisfy all the headmates
